Returning From The Magic World

Chapter 25 Chat

Arthur paid no more attention to the woman, he opened the plastic bag, taking out the food inside.

Amanda was probably annoyed, with a quick movement, she took the egg toast and the cup filled with milk and placed them on the dashboard in front of her.

As for Arthur, he started eating. Even though he ate quite a lot, his calm style and mysterious movements gave off an extremely elegant impression. Amanda couldn't help but glance at him every now and then.

Considering that she was ten years older than Arthur, this was slightly inappropriate, but it was hard to control the cravings generated by curiosity.

The Lamborghini crossed the streets of Vera City very quickly, it didn't take long before it left the city, arriving at an area filled with farmland and plantations.

Arthur had finished eating, so he took out his cell phone. And right after that, Amanda suddenly spoke. "It's rude to play on your phone while in someone else's car."

Whatever the reason, if you're the only passenger, you should accompany the driver to chat instead of playing on your phone. This is politeness in the modern era, also to make the driver not sleepy.

Arthur glanced at Amanda and said "so you want to chat?"

"I wanted to ask; are you Arthur's twin brother?"

Arthur, "..."

This question made him feel a bit strange, so he asked back, "what do you think?"

"I'm more sure of this, so, what's your real name?"

"Arthur Wilson!"

Amanda, "..."

"It seems pointless to talk about this with you," she said.

Silence again in the car, it lasted up to 30 minutes. Then, Amanda asked "can you drive?"

Judging by her face, she seemed to be getting tired, maybe she wasn't the type of person who could drive for too long.

"Unfortunately not," replied Arthur.

He had never learned to drive, and didn't have a driver's license, of course. Even though he thought it was easy, he also had no interest in his current mentality either. Maybe he'll only drive when the situation calls for it.

Amanda definitely wasn't going to hand over her car to a young man who had never even learned to drive, and irritatedly, she said, "I should have brought a few people."

"You should have brought the rose I gave you so you don't get tired easily," said Arthur.

Although the function of the rose is not very clear, it can really relieve fatigue. He could remake it for her but he wouldn't because that would reduce the value of the rose he created.

"Hm, at most it will wither soon," Amanda replied.

"It won't wither as long as I live," replied Arthur.

"Braggart..."

"Can't believe it, how about we have a bet? You can make the rules."

"Humph, what can a brat like you bet?" Amanda smiled cynically.

"Well, if you win, my aunt will help with all your company matters," replied Arthur.

"You're crazy, you think that woman will listen to you."

"I guarantee she will listen to me." Arthur didn't change his expression because he was speaking the truth.

Amanda became curious because of his expression, she couldn't help but ask. "Then what do you ask if you win?"

"Not much, just be a girl who obeys me," Arthur replied.

Amanda, "..."

Her breathing stopped for a few seconds before quickening so that her breasts moved up and down. Perhaps worried about hitting something, she finally stopped the car.

Arthur knit his brows but then sighed. "Okay, you can rest first!"

Whoosh!

Suddenly, Amanda's hand moved quickly towards Arthur's body. She looked like she wanted to pinch him. A woman like her probably had a crab-like pinch, Arthur caught her wrist before her fingers touched his body.

"Please don't play around, you won't be able to hurt me as long as I don't let you," said Arthur.

Amanda looked even more irritated, but perhaps realizing she was starting to lose control, she took a deep breath.

"Good, really good," she said, nodding and taking her hand. Who knows what she was thinking.

Arthur just stared at her, waiting for her next move.

"You really are a man who can mess with my mind," she continued.

"Do you feel threatened by that?" asked Arthur.

"No, I'm just worried that not only my mind is messed up, but also my heart."

"Ohh..." Arthur didn't expect her to say that. "You're not the type to reject turbulent feelings, are you?"

"Of course not, but not with a boy ten years younger than me," she replied.

"Then you don't have to worry too much," Arthur replied. After all, he was actually thousands of years old.

Amanda didn't know that, so she was a bit confused.

"Of course, I need to remind you of one thing," Arthur continued.

"What?" she asked.

"Don't think I want you outside of the partnership."

Amanda who always thought every man who saw her would be attracted to her opened her mouth slightly hearing Arthur's answer.

It took some time before she could calm down. After calming down, she showed her signature smile.

"I can't believe it! Maybe my sister will be fooled by a trick like this, but I will never be fooled," she said.

"Well, you're free to have an opinion!" Arthur leaned his hand against the car door and rested his head in the hand.

Amanda couldn't say anything else seeing his reaction. She drank what was left of her milk, turned on the music before stepping on the gas pedal again.
