Liam didn't look at all the notifications but instead, he glanced at his total Arcanium. The result was quite pleasant even if it was nothing unexpected.

He killed more than half of the Meheks group by himself while his little ducklings killed the rest.
As for the other people who had defended themselves for more than 20 hours, only one or two had been able to stand up for themselves and fight.
One of the fighters used his Soultrait to summon the winds and created compressed wind blades. He killed two Meheks before he slumped to the ground, overly exhausted.
Liam didn't pay much attention to the group of humans after the fight ended. And, instead of secretly transforming his claws back into his hands, Liam expelled some Arcane Power from his hands in the process. His hands began to glow weakly as they transformed back which drew lots of attention toward him.
Many stared at him but Liam didn't mind them. He smiled at their dumbfounded expressions before he went his way.
"It's cold out here. Let's go inside." Liam said loudly enough for everyone to hear as he went inside the café to take a look at the products used by the natives of this world.
After fighting for all the time, Liam was ready to relax and enjoy himself a little. That was something he had never been able to do in the past since he was hunted wherever his identity was exposed. He felt a little bit better than earlier, which was partially thanks to the Dracoli Cookies' that provided him with a boost of vitality. The vitality fixed the little wear and tear that had occurred inside his body and it allowed him to become much stronger without any increase in his stats.
It fixed his body's issues without Liam being aware that he had such issues, to begin with.
Other than the cookies, he was wondering whether his ducklings' attitude toward him had changed or not. At the first glance, nobody seemed to have changed, but Liam had learned to never trust his first impression of anything or anyone.
He had a few encounters with people whom he trusted just to escape death by a hair's breadth after they betrayed him the moment they found out about his origin. Liam wanted to use the opportunity to slowly find out whether the students following him had changed their attitude towards him or not.
A subconscious change in their attitude would already be enough for Liam to determine their fears and worries.
Thus, he entered the café where he encountered two Heavy Meheks. That was a little surprising but Liam moved aside when they pounced at him. He kicked one of the two Heavy Meheks with all his might while his right hand moved to the Casket of Trickery.
With a swift motion, he spun around himself, retrieved two Black Tarthear Needles, and released them at once.
The needles pierced through the fur of the two Heavy Meheks before they began kicking once again while Liam was still in his full momentum.
He dashed forward as the Heavy Meheks' faced the repercussions of their failed attack and grasped the neck of the closest opponent first. His left hand shot out to the Heavy Mehek's throat which he tore out in an instant. The tips of his fingers looked sharper than before as warm blood streamed down his left hand.
However, Liam didn't even take note of that as he threw the dying body of the Heavy Mehek at his brethren whom he pounced at afterward, gouging its eyes out with a single movement before he eliminated the monster by breaking its neck with a snap.

Liam's eyes glowed as he looked at the bloody scenario in front of him but he quickly regained his senses when he heard the natives behind him gasping for air.
Clearing his throat, he tried to brush off the entire incident with a foolish smile as he turned around.
"They surprised me a little…"
Liam was a bad liar and an even worse actor. Thus, his attempt to trick the natives failed miserably. He was looked at with wide eyes and it was only when Olivia, Rex, Ludwig, Kian, and the other students entered the café one after another that the atmosphere in the room changed slowly.
"I will take a quick look around to make sure that no more surprises await us," Olivia said nonchalantly as if Liam's actions were perfectly normal.
At the same time, Kian cleared his throat before he pointed at the counter.
"I can make some coffee as long as the electricity hasn't been cut off yet," He offered while trying hard to hide the discomfort he felt from standing close to the disfigured bodies of the two Heavy Meheks.
It was incomprehensible for Kian how Liam turned two ferocious Heavy Meheks into dead corpses that looked like…this when he didn't even use his claws. With his claws, Liam was certainly stronger but it was also quite obvious that he was a war veteran, someone who had fought thousands of battles.
Liam didn't even look that much older than them, however, it was obvious that his life had been completely different from theirs. Not even a surprise attack from two rather powerful monsters had been enough to inflict the faintest injury on Liam.
Just how powerful was Liam actually?
Rex took a deep breath, he picked up the two corpses and moved them outside before he told the others to go inside and take a break.
His hands trembled a bit but he tried to divert everyone's focus a little.
"You guys did a great job surviving against the Meheks for so long. To think that you guys were able to act fast enough to buy weapons from the Arcane Shop and fight on your own, that's quite remarkable!" Rex praised the men and women for their survival instincts, but nobody said anything in response.
He was looked at weirdly before everyone's gaze moved over to Liam who had followed Kian to take a look at the devices used on Earth.
The smell of roasted coffee beans wafted through the air not long after and Liam's eyes widened in surprise. For a moment, he looked like an airheaded dude, who had no idea about anything.
However, it was exactly that airheaded dude who killed dozens of Meheks with fierceness and an efficiency that could hardly be attained in a single day.
"Aren't you guys even more impressive? You were able to fight these weird monsters head-on, while we were barely able to survive…somehow…" A young man exclaimed all of a sudden, his eyes subconsciously glancing over to Liam every now and then.
"Without him, we would be dead," Ludwig commented, agreeing with the young man. Even if he didn't respect his classmates, Ludwig knew that Liam was someone he needed to become stronger. No matter who or what Liam was, he helped them, and he allowed them to learn how to fend for themselves.
"He might act and sound harsh every now and then but he is a good guy. At the end of the day, he chose to search for more people to help and we're just following him because we want to get stronger without facing the dangers outside by ourselves…"
