Chapter 880 Credit Where Credit Is Due... But What Now?
Chapter 880 Credit Where Credit Is Due... But What Now?
Hal transformed into his massive draconic form mid-way to Amador who was in his gigantic chaotic form and he struck the Emperor with his massive claws and caused him to stumble backward.
Amador had a protection of Chaotic energy and while that protected him from the infinitely sharp might of Hal's claws, it did not help him against the force of the blow.
Hal wasted no time turning around and slamming his opponent with his tail and it was at that point that Amador conjured a massive sword of chaotic energy to stab Hal with.
The Emperor was out of his wide arm spread posture but that did not cause the crack to close because he remained a conduit regardless of the position his body was in.
The sword swing by Amador was so fast that Hal apparently had no hope of moving out of the way in time but also had not actually wanted to move out of the way.
Rather he conjured a shield of his Sovereign Bloodline energy and knocked the sword aside after which, he grew massive Phoenix wings out of his draconic back, and in that hybrid form, Hal shot Amador with flaming feather projectiles.
The feathers, powered by Sovereign might and shrouded in the glorious concept of Infinity, cut through the protection of chaotic energy that Amador had around himself to stab into his chest.
The feathers did not simply stick to Amador's chest either but rather burrowed their way into the internal of his system where they promptly sought out his Bloodline to encircle and burn in the flames of refinement.
As his bloodline got burned up and siphoned as refined energy going into Hal, Amador could do nothing to stop the process ans so he ignored it... Or more accurately, the Chaotic clone controlling his actions made him ignore it and focus on pushing back Hal's attacks while keeping the crack open.
The crack was the only way out of the Nexus for the gods that had been sent into it and should it close up before they could escape, they would likely lose their lives to the inevitable destruction of the Nexus world.

The gods were of course, unable to consider an escape especially since they were yet to complete the task they had been sent to accomplish. General Karmit himself was unable to order them to retreat as he was busy himself at the moment.
Anyway, the bit of Amador's bloodline meant to be the connection on which the opening of the crack hinged was already secured so there was no need to waste precious resources saving the bloodline when it was worthlessly mortal anyway.
*BANG!*
*BANG!*
*BANG!*
The following clashes gave off deafening sounds of impact and the more clashes there were, the more evident it was that Hal had the upper hand.
The one chance Amador eventually got to trap Hal yielded no fruit for the Emperor as Hal reverted from his massive draconic form to his human-sized Sovereign form.
Hal maneuvered Amador's attacks and stabbed his trident into the Emperor's chest.
Amador appeared to no longer have any blood to spill.
The attack shed nothing except a vapor of the chaotic energy that now flowed in the Emperor's large veins.
As soon as Hal's trident made its intended contact, there struck out, from the point Hal struck, an attack of chaotic energy but Hal simply hit the attack with a blow that packed his sovereign might as well as his Infinite Concept which greatly amplified his strength to the point where it was greater than what he had shown himself capable of in his gigantic Draconic form.
The Draconic form, the Devil form, and the Phoenix Form were all, at this point, no more upgrades to what Hal himself was capable of. Now, they were mostly cosmetic changes he could choose from however and whenever he pleased.
In his 'normal' form, shrouded in robes of Sovereignty or not, Hal is and will always be the Avatar of Infinity and the Cosmic Sovereign and his full might would always be accessible to him just like any Armament he decided to use to channel his might.
The only Armament that had an obvious significance to Hal's battle prowess was his Sovereign Scepter and even that was just a symbol of his Sovereignty capable of letting out the full oppressive/commanding might of Hal's Dao independent of him.
Hal's blow shattered the chaotic attack and smacked into Amador's chest which caused shockwaves that continued to worsen the already occurring destruction of the Nexus world but Hal could not allow himself to be distracted by that at the moment.
Amador took the blow quite well by the imbuement of Chaos and as he powered it to strike out at Hal, ignoring the Trident that had been stabbed into him, Hal simply grinned before activating a formation he had ingrained in the Trident he struck Amador with.
"What... What is this?" Amador asked with a groan but Hal could hear the inflection of the tone of Primordial Will in the Emperor's words.
"What does it feel like?" Hal asked with an even wider grin while the formation got to work siphoning all the chaotic energy powering Amador with his ultimate aim being to churn it all up and making it a part of his Infinity.
He got the idea while he was doing something similar to the piece of Order that had been put inside the Monument of Ordinances.
The Chaotic clone, Avatar of Primordial Will, first tried to battle Hal's formation directly but that attempt failed quickly when it became clear how out of its depth it was.
The power of Infinity Hal was using to power the formation was being bolstered by his most recent acquisition; the Monument of Ordinances.
As much imbuement the Chaotic clone could get from Primordial Will, it was still subjected to certain limitations placed on the Nexus world as a world lacking divinity.
The limitations were not gone simply because the Nexus world was getting destroyed... In fact, it was because of the breaking of certain rules inflicted on the Nexus world, such as the prohibition of a visit from a god, that the destruction was occurring.
Amador rose to strike at Hal since the formation did not keep him from moving, but Hal used a finger to change the trajectory of the blow after which he punched him in the face,
*BAM!*
So massive was the might of the blow that it caused the gigantic Amador to fall on his back, crushing already destroyed structures in the Imperial palace into flaky rubble.
Hal landed on Amador's chest, gripped his trident that was the center of his still-active formation, and twisted it to add to the Emperor's pain.
"Arrrrrggggghhhhh,"
Grinning at Amador's tortured yell, Hal's sovereign scepter appeared and spread out the ultimate commanding force that made it impossible for Amador to stir.
The Chaos-possessed Emperor could only groan and yell helplessly as the refinement of his chaotic empowerment continued.
A gaseous vapor came from the area on Amador's chest that Hal had stabbed... This was not actually out of the ordinary as it had been happening as a substitute for blood since the Emperor first got stabbed, but what caused this particular vapor to catch Hal's eye was that it took on a familiar shape...
... It took on the shape of Primordial Will.
"Alright Hal, you win. Credit where credit is due. You're an exceptional youngster," Primordial Will said with a frown.
"Quite big of you to admit that," Hal said with a smirk with his hand still on his Trident.
"We underestimated you and you have accomplished more than we could have ever thought you would, However, what now?" Primordial Will said calmly and Hal said nothing and just stared back at the vapor-formed Avatar of Chaos which Primordial Will took as permission to continue,
"What will you do now? Even if you do manage to kill all who have been sent to end you, you would have only delayed the inevitable.
Even if you survive and become a god, the mortal limitations on this world will simply be lifted and the Primevals, not just Zalser, are ready to send Armies to put a definite end to your existence,"
"Is there a point to all this? Do you have a proposition perhaps?" Hal asked.
Primordial Will's frown got even deeper,
"The proposition is that you accept a swift end to Infinity... A swift end to you. You can't escape it so why fight it?" it said.
"Heh," was Hal's response before he sped up his formation and siphoned/refined the chaotic energy powering Amador.
The vapor-formed Primordial Will fizzled out as Amador began to shrink while Hal took off into the air to watch from above.
Amador became normal size again with his hair stark white and his skin now sallow and withered.
The trident was still in Amador's skinny chest and the formation did not stop until it had refined every bit of energy Amador had including his life energy.
As the Emperor died, the last indigenous member of the Nexus world whose faith did not lie in Hal perished and the way became clear for Hal to become the first god of the Nexus world which was exactly what he wanted.
Hal sent an attack to Amador's throne Altar and destroyed it as the crack in the sky of the Nexus World closed up and then crossed his legs in mid/air and closed his eyes to use his command over cosmic energy to draw in every bit of cosmic energy present in the Nexus world for an attempt at his most ambitious advancement yet...
