Chapter 40 - Shopping For Prepare Birthday Party Celebration
Two days passed, Dean felt even more confused because tomorrow was Sofia's birthday, while he did not have a penny for the cost of the celebration. He had tried to borrow money from Louis, but it turned out that Louis also didn't have enough money to celebrate a birthday.
Kareen always offers loans, but Dean always refuses. The reason remained the same, which was not wanting that girl to take advantage of it to approach him. Bryana also never made another loan offer. It made Dean, who insisted on not wanting to borrow money from her, couldn't do anything else.
At seven o'clock in the morning, Dean is very neat wearing dark black pants combined with a black t-shirt that is a bit tight to accentuate his burly body and comb his hair in a haircut style. He also wore earphones and another set of security tucked away in the pocket of his trousers. The man was standing on the ground floor near the stairs, waiting for the employer to be escorted to the office.
"Good morning, Dean," said Bryana who came from upstairs walking down the stairs.
Dean looked up and frowned at the sight of Bryana dressed like she wasn't going to the office. The employer wore black jeans combined with a cream top and a thin black blazer.
"Aren't you going to the office today?" Dean asked as he watched Bryana who almost arrived at the ground floor.
"No," Bryana said.
"Then, we'll just stay home or ...."
"We're shopping for your daughter's birthday," Bryana said before Dean finished speaking.
"Jill, that's not necessary," said Dean huffily.
"Never mind, I know you have no money at all. Don't be proud and don't hesitate. Don't you want to make your daughter happy?" Bryana asked with a raised eyebrow, staring intensely at Dean, who was stunned in anxiety.
Dean just nodded slowly.
"Then don't let your daughter be disappointed just because of your fear of not wanting to receive help from me. I also do this sincerely from my heart, because I also want to make your daughter happy," Bryana exclaimed so straightforwardly.
"Thank you in advance. I don't know what else to do but accept your help because I... "Dean shrugged, then sighed. "Because I don't have a penny. So sad."
"Don't grieve," Bryana exclaimed and walked toward the dining room where Calvin was having breakfast with Lauren.

Dean also followed Bryana and met Louis who had just finished breakfast. They were standing near the dining table watching two beautiful women who were chatting with a boy who was neatly wearing school uniforms.
"After school, you take Calvin to Dean's house, but before that, change the clothes first, or you can just bring a change of clothes from home and go straight there," Bryana exclaimed as she spread the bread with chocolate jam.
"Yes, ma'am," said Lauren, nodding.
"We're going to uncle Dean's house, Ma?" asked Calvin, then devoured Lauren's chicken soup.
"Yes, we will help uncle Dean to prepare for his daughter's birthday celebration," Bryana explained with a warm smile. Somehow she was so enthusiastic and eager to get to know the Dean family more closely.
Calvin also looked radiant. He likes it because he will visit his mother's bodyguard house who is like a superhero for him.
After breakfast, Louis and Lauren immediately escorted Calvin to school, while Dean and Bryana were going to the mall for shopping.
___
Arrival at the mall, Dean walked behind Bryana carrying a white hamper push it. He followed wherever his employer walked.
Bryana bought a lot of unblown balloons as well as the pump, then put them in the hamper that Dean brought. She also bought pink ribbons and various decorations to hang to add to the festive feel of the simple birthday atmosphere.
"Have you made an invitation card for this birthday?" Bryana asked, walking back down the mall, looking for what she needed for tomorrow's party.
"Not yet," said Dean.
Bryana immediately stopped and turned to face Dean who also stopped immediately. "Why didn't you tell me earlier? What time is the event tomorrow?"
Dean just shook his head, because he hadn't prepared for the party.
"Oh my God. Then who would come if no one was to be invited?" Bryana sighed while giving Dean a frustrated look. Lol.
"Em, I'll just ask Kareen to make the invitations then," said Dean while reaching into his pocket to retrieve his smartphone.
"No need," Bryana said.
Dean also canceled contacting Kareen.
"I'm going to ask Monica to take care of the invitation card," Bryana explained with a distasteful look at Dean who was about to ask Kareen for help.
"Monica?" Dean looked doubtful. because he knew that Monica would have greatly mocked or cornered him even more if he found out that Bryana was going to help prepare a party for his daughter.
"Yes, Monica is more reliable. Kareen has to focus on work." Bryana walked back down the mall.
Dean followed until Bryana stopped at a place where various types of cakes were sold. He saw that there were lots of birthday cakes that were priced at fantastic prices, stored in a transparent refrigerator. the man shook his head and could not afford it, while the employer went to the seller and the cake maker.
"I ordered a large size themed Frozen. The point is I ordered the best and most interesting for a girl," Bryana exclaimed while looking at the catalog containing pictures of birthday cakes.
"Sure, ma'am. When should I take it to your house?" asked the cake maker, who looked older than Bryana.
Bryana turned to look at Dean who had been watching her. "What time does the event start?" She asked.
"Uh, just three o'clock in the afternoon," replied Dean thoughtfully.
Bryana nodded in understanding and looked back at the cake makers. "Take two o'clock. I'll send his home address," she exclaimed, then took the smartphone from the small sling bag she had been carrying.
Bryana asked for the cake maker's contact number and paid for the cake to be delivered tomorrow. After that, she and Dean switched to looking for other party supplies and also bought several packs of types of snacks, drinks, small toys. They will all be used as gifts for the guests who will come.
"Jill, I think this is enough. You have already spent a lot of money on shopping for this," said Dean while staring at the hampered which was full of groceries.
"How about enough, Dean? We haven't ordered boxed food yet and we should have hired the MC as well." Bryana looked at Dean who always looked terrible to her.
"MC?" Dean looked confused.
Bryana sighed. "Yes, we need an MC to handle the party. Never mind, you just follow me and I'll take care of all these preparations." Bryana walked back towards the restaurant in the mall.
Dean could only surrender to follow where Bryana walked. Occasionally he smiled staring at his master from behind. Her body is sexy but still polite, making him feel more like it. Moreover, her attitude is very humble and gives everything for his daughter's happiness, which man will not be even crazier.
'Is it true that Monica said Jill loves me?' Dean wondered.
