Chapter 191: 191. Entering the Port City
''Woohoo! I'm flying!''
''Would you stop screaming?''
Above the skies of Saelther Canyon, two pairs of dark wings cut through the winds, heading toward the nearby port city.
Jake was holding Jasmine who was fascinated as this was her first flight.
''I see a tower. Master, look!'' She pointed ahead as if she was the only one who had eyes.
''Yea yea, good job.'' Jake gave a half-arsed reply and started descending.
Unlike her, he could see some men down below, riding their way to Cheshire.
Fiona followed his course as soon as she saw him retract his dark wings. Jake didn't need them to fly, but he liked flapping his wings in the wind.
Along with his slave, he and Fiona landed on the ground and began walking like common people.
''Why did we drop here? Aren't you some powerful demon or something?'' Jasmine whispered to him as they walked.
''Exactly,'' Jake said. ''This city apparently has some people with godly powers. They wouldn't want me flying into it, would they?''
He pulled Fiona closer while replying to the slave girl.

''So… Uh, why the fuck are we going there? It's dangerous, those church cunts might 'purify' you.''
''Oh ho, worried for me?'' Jake gave her an amused stare.
''Of, course. You're my master, the one who fucks me better than anyone.'' She returned a cheeky smile.
Fiona didn't seem happy with it. Pouting, she was about to say something when Jake dashed forward.
He could see the earlier group of men on horsebacks. The riders looked sufficiently rich and had swords with them.
''Fiona, do you see those two riders left behind from the group ahead? Pick any one of them and kill without making a sound. You will then ride the horse he was on.'' The voice directly rang in her mind and the girl dashed ahead as well.
It happened in a matter of seconds. Jake shot a shadow spear from behind which accurately pierced a rider's throat. Fiona opted to slice the head of the one behind him.
Jake pulled both bodies using [Demonic Grasp] and burned with Dark Fire.
''Wait-'' The slave girl ran up to them, but before she could say another word, Jake sealed her mouth using magic.
He carried her and blurred past the burning bodies. The next second, Jake was on the back of the frightened horse which abruptly stopped neighing. Fiona was already riding the other horse.
''We cover our heads with the cape, just like the riders ahead,'' Jake said, pulling his horse's reins.
After Jake lifted the spell off her lips, Jasmine looked behind to see that the burning corpses were no more. Not even the ashes remained of those men.
Clutching her owner's cape, she asked, ''Couldn't you just teleport ahead with us?''
''Daddy's needs to know the place to teleport.''
''Yep,'' Jake said. ''And I've never been to Cheshire.''
''So why are we going there?'' Jasmine asked again. She could feel the sea's waves now. The port was near.
''I want to have a small meeting with this… Marquis Jones.'' Jake spoke. ''This one is a Grand Knight with quite a few lofty titles. He has what I need, most likely.''
''So my great powerful master is after noble cunts now.'' Jasmine laughed.
''Indeed,'' he replied. ''I heard they're better than slave cunts.''
That made her laughter fade away. She was about to say something when the horses ahead stopped.
Jake and Fiona also pulled the reins, waiting for the group of riders to pass through the gates. Everyone had gotten off of their horses' backs.
Unless you were a noble or a knight, no one was allowed to ride horses inside the city.
Some riders looked behind to check and had their irises turn red for a brief moment. They forgot what they'd seen as they turned their heads.
The checking process went by quickly despite being strict. When Jake's turn came, he got down and told the girls to wait.
''State your name and purpose for coming here.'' One of the guards hit the muddy ground with his spear's end.
Jake put his hand inside his pocket and took out an adventurer's card. He threw it at them and one guard caught it.
The armored man asked after reading through it. ''What about those women behind you?''
Jake looked at the two girls and smiled at them. He turned around and replied, ''The one with black hair is my wife. The other one… well, she has a collar and I own the ring.''
''Lucky man.'' The guard threw his guild card back. ''Are you with the group ahead?''
''Yes,'' Jake replied, casually catching his card.
The gate's guards looked at each other, not knowing that he was a 4th Circle demon. After a few seconds, one of them nodded and the others followed.
''Welcome to Cheshire, young lad.''
All guards got out of his way and Jake whistled at Jasmine and Fiona. They quickly pulled the horses and walked toward him.
''They're beautiful,'' a guard commented as Jake and the girls passed through the gates. ''I wouldn't want them near the docks if I were you. Pirates like shiny things and pretty faces.''
'Pirates huh…' Jake thought, putting an arm over Fiona who was, again, looking all around the city in fascination.
The slave girl, on the other hand, was busy sniffing the air. She took her time pointing her little nose at the crowd of people, the busy street with vendors, carts and carriages.
Then she looked through the tall houses and gazed at the Sapphire sea, sparkling with midday's light.
''It smells fishy.'' The panther girl seemed hungry. Being with a demon and a homunculus who could survive without food, she hadn't eaten anything yet.
''Come on,'' Jake pulled his horse and walked ahead.
''We gotta find that noble cunt's house, and you'll have some fish there.''
''I also want fish, daddy!'' Fiona pulled her horse and followed along with Jasmine.
Ahead of the two girls, Jake's eyes were focused on the church spire far away. That was the diocese of Ardin Province, another Cathedral of Light.
'While I'm at it, I should go for some holy cunts as well.' He smirked and turned to look at the lighthouse tower on a small island.
