Chapter 36
‘What? System skills can level up that way too? I thought only Evil Points can level up skills.’
[Ding! Connecting with the System Assistant. Replying to Host: With the usage of your abilities, as your proficiency increases, it is possible to naturally level up the skills. You can also gain abilities without buying as long as you repeatedly practice them.]
‘Eh, I should have gotten something like [Fucking] then…’
[Normal skills such as that are not included in the system database.]
”M-My Lord…” At this moment, the priest spoke. He really didn’t know why Jake was staring at empty air, showing different expressions from time to time.
Yunna and Erin thought their master was talking to someone with Mana Communication. However, they were off the mark.
After Jake finished his chat with the system, he dealt with his new Dark Priest the same way he did with the others. The same commands, the same acting. He gave an additional order to contact the priests of the other two villages and form a pact.
All three priests acting together would be more credible, after all.
Jake and his servants did not stay in Senesten village and headed back to his dungeon at sunset.
Soon, a dark and moonless night came. Winds blew wildly and trees in Redwoods danced. Sharp whistling came, accompanying a distant sound similar to soldiers’ marching. A torrential rain was heading this way.
However, neither Jake nor the two girls walking beside him were concerned. If it was on earth, Jake would have run to a nearby building to take shelter. It wasn’t fun to wet yourself in monsoon rain that could make you sick.

However, he was now a demon. He wouldn’t get sick at all unless the disease had magical properties involved. He was also not concerned about getting wet.
Jake had many clothes for himself that he bought from the shop at a discounted price. Really, this system had almost everything, except the earth’s technologies. Jake was really hoping to get some M16s and test them out against the people of this world. He would get a more accurate measure of their power that way.
However, even though he searched a lot, he found no kind of modern weapon or gadget in the shop. Sometimes, Jake wondered who made this system and for what purpose. Still, he knew he wouldn’t get that answer any time soon.
…
They arrived in the dungeon at midnight. Yunna and Jake had already reverted to their true appearances.
The dungeon entrance looked more dark and creepy at night. Wine snakes were hissing on the first floor. Anyone hearing it would have chills run down their spine.
However, they all quieted down when Jake walked through. On the second floor, the goblins slept soundly. A few were awake and waving torches. When they sensed some creatures walking over, the green troublemakers went to see.
However, the moment one illuminated Jake’s face and his horns, that goblin backed away quickly. Jake had killed an entire tribe recently and that made all goblins in the dungeon terrified to the core.
He ignored them and walked downstairs while chatting with Yunna and Erin. Passing the third, fourth, fifth and sixth floor, they finally arrived at the last one.
Jake had noticed that the security in his dungeon had improved rapidly. There were traps laid by the monsters in the tunnels and even some mana crystals had formed.
Jake knew it was still far from a proper dungeon. There weren’t any treasures here and no special rooms. Even the floors were small and didn’t have space for the growing number of monsters.
‘Soon… soon, I’ll have the mana crystals to increase mana density and expand the dungeon’s size.’ Jake had many things running in his mind, which got interrupted by Lena’s voice ringing in his left ear.
”Master, welcome back. The hot spring is already prepared! Also, we have visitors. They say they are your servants!’ she informed him in a cute voice.
”Oh… so they got here earlier than us…”
”Are those the same women you sent, master?” Yunna asked.
”Yes.”
Beside him, Erin pouted and grasped Jake’s arm, pressing it with her soft breasts. Her master had been too busy all this while! Yunna and she weren’t able to spend much time with Jake at all these days.
He knew what they were thinking. Casually grabbing their bottoms, he pressed them closer and said, ”Let’s go see that hot spring. Those women can wait.”
They walked through the seventh floor’s tunnels, which were lit by yellow torches, and arrived at the hot spring. Inside the second largest chamber, white fumes traveled upwards and mixed with the hot atmosphere.
There was a large pool of clear spring water on the floor. Large and rough stones were placed to trap the water.
Yunna and Erin stood at the edge of the hot spring, taking in the view which was lit by white magical torches.
‘Lena, you took these lights from my room, didn’t you?’ Jake used Mana Communication.
The dungeon fairy was in another chamber with all the other girls. When her master questioned her, she nervously replied, ‘I-It was a little dark… We have replaced the torches in y-your room with the yellow and red ones.’
Jake walked forward and dipped his feet in the hot water. Oh, that felt good. He meant to punish Lena by not letting her come close to the dungeon core for a day, but then dismissed that thought. This chamber needed some good lighting, anyway. He would buy more torches for his room later.
‘Where is Perry?’ Jake asked.
‘Mmm, she is tired and sleeping in your room, master.’
‘I see.’ Jake didn’t want to keep her out of the fun he and the girls were soon going to have. However, he remembered that despite being his Dark Priestess, she was still a human.
Compared to Erin and Yunna, Perry was rather delicate. A day of directing orcs, goblins and kobolds to dig out this hot spring would tire her out, of course.
Jake ended his call with that little pixie and glanced at the girls who were playing with the water.
”Aren’t you afraid of it?” Jake asked Erin. During the daytime, she wore a dark cloak to shield herself from the sun. She was a vampire. How could she touch water?
”No? Only the water which has divine powers can harm me, master. Normal water has no effect,” Erin replied.
That sounded about right. He had known about vampires on earth as well. However, that was just folklore, and not everything would be true in another world.
”I see. Then what are you two waiting for?” He looked at them with a smirk. ”Strip and get in that hot spring!”
