Chapter 95: Which Side Are You?
Chapter 95: Which Side Are You?
Greed Spirit... The four people around who heard it repeated those words as they immediately frowned simultaneously. The Greed Spirit who didn't appear in the world for a very long time was now making a move and was actually eyeing as well on the Vessel of the Greed sin? Just what in the world was that spirit planning? They really didn't expect such a thing would happen. How could the prophet didn't see something important like this... No matter how they thought about it, it could only spell trouble.
Even the other families who were eavesdropping from them suddenly turned exceedingly serious. Greed Spirit... They could only mutter that name as they gazed in the direction of the vessel. If that spirit meddles with their business and caused trouble, then there was really a chance that their plan might fail. Damn it. They could only curse inwardly thinking how troublesome their situation was.
"Where did you get this information?" Someone who was eavesdropping from them couldn't take it anymore as he appeared behind Robert. His name was Jino Scarlet. He had a strong build and his height didn't fail in comparison to Robert's. He had red spiky hair and red sharp eyes. He only wore a pants and sleeveless shirt, revealing the scar on his muscular arms.
After a moment, more groups of people arrived in the area as it appeared as well that they too couldn't take it anymore. Although not everyone came in there, at least each of the top five strongest families sent a people or two to listen closely and then beat Robert's ass if they ever found him making fun of them.
Robert then turned around to see all of them as he couldn't help but smile. These guys seemed to really hold his words highly. He was just happy that he could finally see the fruit of his labors as the top families finally regard him as something else, gaining their trust or something as a result.
With that in mind, Robert opened his mouth as he replied, "I saw him myself. Moreover, there is also this strange lady who's together with the Greed Spirit. No matter how hard I try, I really can't see through her. I think she's a trespasser and is also one of the top echelons of the other sin land. That gives you another trouble.
"Right, there's one more trouble for you all. There is also this young lady of the Charlotte family. And this young lady is pretty interesting. I never thought that the Charlotte family have such an asset. Tsk, tsk. The leaderboard of the top strongest family might really change in the future."

Robert voiced out his thoughts with anticipation. But then, that lady Stella Charlotte was surely something else. Costing 1 million diamond when placed as a bet in the War Zone? Even till now, Robert still found it hard to believe that something like that was actually possible. Just what in the world was her identity anyway?
In any case, although Robert still hadn't mentioned that he was also one of them, he intended to do it later as a little surprise. Just imagining what their reaction would be once they managed to prevent their plan and learned that he was also on the side of the Greed Spirit, Robert couldn't help laughing in his heart. The feeling of trampling over the top families was really good.
On the other hand, those who were around and heard his words, all turned even more serious. Dealing with Greed Spirit was already a headache. But who would have thought that there was also a trespasser who Robert, the greatest hunter in the younger generation, and one of the greatest hunters in Greedland, couldn't see through. Just how strong was that person for real? Other than the family leaders and elders, they couldn't think of someone to compare with. Could it be that this person was a very important figure in one of the other sin lands? They felt that it was highly likely. It was just that, they couldn't believe that such a person would actually meddle with the business in Greedland. No matter how they thought about it, they only felt that there was a need to let their families know about it.
But wait... The trouble didn't in there. The representatives of each family around turned to look in the direction of the Charlotte family as if wanting to hear a response. As if they were saying, "What the hell are you doing guys? What's with this young lady that Robert is talking about?"
If Robert praised that lady as interesting, and the one who could change the leaderboard in the future, then surely, she must be pretty strong as well. But why did it appear that this lady was a rebellious kid who came here to cause trouble for them? Just how the hell did this Charlotte family raise their child? To think that they would have someone in their family who would side with the Greed Spirit. No matter how they thought of it, this could only be a disgrace to the top families.
Simon Charlotte, who was clad in a noble outfit, and the young master of the Charlotte family who went there, had a darkened expression seeing the watchful gazes of the people in the area. He really didn't know anything. What young lady? What in the world Robert was talking about? Even he himself couldn't think of anyone worthy of that kind of praise from him other than the first daughter of the family leader, Seraphina Charlotte. But that young lady was strictly disciplined and wouldn't dare to betray their family so it was impossible to be her. Just who the hell was that kid...
"Don't look at me. I knew nothing." Simon tried his best to remain calm as he responded. As one of the young masters of the top strongest family, the Charlotte family who values honor highly, he naturally had trained his state mind well. That said, panicking in such a situation would only be an embarrassment not only for him but to their family. Just who the hell was that kid anyway? Simon could only clench his fist thinking who was that unfilial child causing trouble for their family.
So to change their attention from him, Simon gazed at Robert as he asked, "Putting that aside, which side are you?"
Simon successfully shifted their attention to Robert as they all stared at Robert in anticipation. Right, which side was he? All of them wanted to know it as some of them even dared to release an aura of hostility as if they were ready to strike at any moment if in case that this Robert was an enemy.
Robert continued to smile though. Seeing their eyes filled with anticipation, he really had an urge to tell that he was on the side of the Greed Spirit.
Thankfully, he managed to control himself as he responded with a slight smile, "Who knows?"
Immediately, all people in the area released a much stronger aura of hostility. If the other party didn't want to answer, then it could only mean that he was their enemy! They should dispatch him immediately, now that they were still together. Because they knew full well that no one among them could catch him if they took him alone.
Robert forced a smile as he began to sweat. These guys were surely hot-blooded. If he teased them any longer, he was afraid that they would surely make a move against him.
"Please calm down everyone," On the other hand, Diane by his side began to panic seeing her beloved being targetted by the top families. Even though she didn't know what to do, she still stepped forward and tried to protect her beloved by talking it out.
And those people around began to frown seeing Diane trying to protect her one-sided love. Thankfully, before any of them could speak harsh words against Diane, Robert tapped Diane's left shoulder as he spoke, "It's fine."
After which, Robert swept his gaze at the people around and said with a smile, "Don't worry, I'm only here to watch you all 'for now' and enjoy the show." Robert then turned around and walked near the edge of the cliff. The smile didn't leave his face as he added, "Putting that aside, don't you think that it's finally starting? Look there, the Greed Domain is vanishing. I think the vessel is now ready to run wild..."
The representative of the top families also noticed it. And what they felt right now was restlessness. After all, failing such a task would definitely cost them not only their honor but their families as well. They might even get punished heavily if they ever failed to complete this task.
"Let's get ready everyone," Jino Scarlet spoke seriously. After which, he vanished and went to his family position.
The others didn't say anything as they too vanished in the area and went to where their family was. Only Robert, Diane and her family were left in the area as they gazed in the direction of the vessel. Though Robert was smiling, Diane and the others were exceedingly serious.
