Strongest Spirit Beast Master Family

Chapter 92: Chapter 93 Dark Market

"Having a look would be good. We might come across some rare thing, I also want you to buy something in there before we go adventure." Master Magi laughed.

The cool moonlight fell from the sky, as if draping a layer of silver gauze over all the buildings.

Under the starlit sky, a figure in a black robe walked slowly. On his shoulder, a petite Flame Cat licked its lips gently, its Blue eyes constantly surveying the surroundings.

After winding through several crooked streets, Blaze Regret looked up at the slightly eerie gate in front of him, his eyes narrowing slightly.

On either side of the gate stood two young men with indifferent expressions, each possessing the strength of a ninth rank spirit warrior.

A ninth rank spirit warrior, just one step away from becoming a spirit Imperial. It's unbelievable that such powerful individuals are here guarding the gate.

"Is this the Dark Market?" Blaze Regret sighed inwardly, then lifted his foot and walked towards it.

"Stop!"

Just as Blaze Regret approached, one of the young men flashed a cold light in his eyes and shouted coldly.

"Hey Hey, you think you can go in without a token?"

At this moment, a young man passing by Blaze Regret glanced at him disdainfully, raised his hand slightly, and a pitch black token appeared in his hand, though it lacked the mandala flower engraving.

"Go in."

Under the indifferent gaze of the young man at the gate, the boy walked in with an arrogant expression, not even sparing Blaze Regret a glance.

Watching this scene, Blaze Regret shrugged innocently. He knew the token was useful, but he didn't know the Dark Market's requirements were so strict, needing to show the token from such a distance.

So, he took out the token from his storage stone and gently handed it to one of the young men.

"An Elder's Token?"

Seeing the token in Blaze Regret's hand, the young man was initially stunned, then quickly bowed respectfully. "I didn't realize an elder was arriving. Apologies for any offense."

Seeing this, the other young man also hurriedly bowed, moving very cautiously.

"What is an Elder's Token?"

After a moment of hesitation, Blaze Regret asked in confusion.

"You don't know?"

The young man straightened up, looking at Blaze Regret with a peculiar expression, but his attitude remained respectful: "The Elder's Token is the highest token in the Dark Market. It grants access to any place within the Dark Markets of the Sun Moon Empire and provides a twenty percent discount on all purchases."

"Are there different levels of tokens?" Blaze Regret blinked.

"Of course, that person earlier had the lowest level token. He can't access some of the truly good places," another young man quickly added.

"So that's how it is. Thank you for the information. May I go in now?" Blaze Regret asked with a smile.

"Of course," the young man replied with a smile, hesitating for a moment before asking, "Sir, I don't believe I've seen you before. This token..."

"It was a gift from a friend, Alif Azlin from the Angsana Pavilion Auction. Do you know her?" Blaze Regret put the token back into his void Realms stone and asked, curious about Alif Azlin's identity.

"So it's Elder Alif," the young man smiled wryly. "Please, go ahead. Forgive us for our rudeness."

Seeing that the two were unwilling to divulge more information, Blaze Regret let it go. At least he knew that Alif Azlin was connected to the Dark Market and held a significant position.

As he stepped through the dark door, the scene before him changed completely compared to the cold exterior. The streets on either side were lined with stalls, each vendor wearing a uniformly indifferent expression.

"An eighth rank spirit warrior."

Passing by one of the stalls, Blaze Regret's heart skipped a beat. He could understand the strength of the two outside since they were Dark Market inspectors, but encountering an eighth rank spirit warrior just after entering was quite terrifying.

"These guys all have a murderous aura. Best not to provoke them."

The further he walked, the more shocked Blaze Regret became. Everyone inside was stronger than him. A second rank spirit warrior like him was at the very bottom here.

On the street, every so often, a young man was stationed, all dressed in white, with solemn expressions on their faces.

If it weren't for these people, this dark market would be in utter chaos.

"Blaze Regret, take three steps to the left. There's something good there."

As Blaze Regret was observing the market, Master Magi's voice suddenly echoed in his mind.

Nodding subtly, Blaze Regret walked over to the indicated stall, crouching down as if he were inspecting the goods.

"Young man, all my items here are top quality. Whatever you need, just let me know, and I'll give you the lowest price."

Even the Dark Market vendors were as shrewd and cunning as those outside. Seeing Blaze Regret approach, the vendor quickly put on a smile and started promoting his wares enthusiastically.

"How much for this red bead?"

Following Master Magi's instructions, Blaze Regret's hand pretended to sweep over a pile of items before stopping at a red bead.

"This is a great treasure. I found it among the relics of a powerful spirit warrior. It's yours for just twenty thousand gold coins," the vendor said, his eyes flashing.

"Then tell me, what's this bead used for?" Blaze Regret asked with amusement. Master Magi had just told him that this item wasn't worth even a thousand gold coins, yet this guy was asking for twenty thousand. Quite bold.

"Well, uh..." The vendor's face showed an embarrassed expression, and he was at a loss for words.

"If even you don't know, why would I want it?" Blaze Regret chuckled, shaking his head as he stood up to leave.

"Three thousand!" the vendor blurted out in a panic.

"One thousand," Blaze Regret countered.

Seeing that the vendor was still trying to raise the price, Blaze Regret waved his hand helplessly. "This item is of no use to me. I'm just browsing. If you're not selling, then forget it."

Reluctantly, the vendor nodded and took the thousand gold coins from Blaze Regret.
