"Kill Cosimo, and I'll seriously consider giving you a chance," Tian Xun said, surprising Lin Shen immensely.

"But isn't the Metichi Family your ally?" Lin Shen was puzzled. Doing such a thing, wasn't it like cutting off one's own limb?

"The Metichi Family indeed is my ally, but unfortunately, in the past few years, they've become too inflated and lost sight of their place. You saw it just now; an Ascender from the Metichi Family, when I commanded him to apologize, had to be told so many times.
