Chapter 84: Side Chapter: Aurelius life(3)
Chapter 84: Side Chapter: Aurelius life(3)
War is unpredictable and inconclusive. It reminds us about our negative visions.
It is a way for exponential development, and the ruler must learn about it. They could never avoid conflict which is happening behind their back.
To let them realize how the world works, I have no option other than war.
Maybe Ancient Elves fought many monster invaders, but It has not affected much development in their basic life.
As a race that has a supreme body from birth, there are hardly any monsters who could give them any competition.
Perhaps my strategy is cruel, but it is most effective.
Fighting with normal monsters doesn't conclude that it is a true war.
War is state-sanctioned brutality, the outcome of which is death, destruction, and suffering in order to achieve their unobtainable objective through diplomatic means. It is a contest of wills settled through extreme violence where the devastation is the rule, not the exception. War is also based on a crude and cruel path where success usually relies upon the ability to both inflict and sustain greater casualties than the opposition. Its enduring features are friction, chaos, and chance, all of which lead to uncertainty.
War is controversial, unfortunate, and certainly misunderstood; it is a transforming agent, a catalyst for change. Nonetheless, many people focus on war's negative consequences, while positive effects are downplayed. War is a necessary evil in the sense that it stabilizes the population, encourages technological advances, and has a very high economic value. Without war, the overpopulation of the High human race in the universe is inevitable. It is for this reason that war is a useful tool by not only Nature but also for many races themselves to institute population control.
This time, the Ancient Elves will face the true war for the first time. The low-rank monster that I summoned for the celestial plane is not something ordinary monsters could match.
They have emotions, feelings, and intellectuals. However, their intellect is far lesser than any race of the Universe.
They couldn't be considered a race. Still, they were enough for the early Ancient Elves.

"Queen, an army of unusual monsters is herding towards the Holy forest. Each of them has strength which could reveal any adult Elves who master one circle star magic spell."
A worried expression appears on Queen Egima's face, which quickly banished, and with a calm, she asked, " How many are and what is the strength of the strongest monsters."
"We are ashamed, but we don't know about the exact strength of the Strongest monster in the horde, but they are likely 4000 monsters in the horde."
As she listens more, she becomes more worried. It is the first time that this type of castrotrope happens in the history of the Ancient Elves.
"What is the chance of our winning?

"We don't have enough information about them. However, they are fierce and strong monsters. In direct confrontation, we have only 50% of winning."
"50,"
"Are you sure? In the mainland of Ancient Elves, there are some species of monsters that could evenly match us? Besides, they are in fewer numbers."
"Queen Egima, sometimes the uncertainty and no knowledge lead to the reduction of winning percentage. Maybe it is 40%, maybe 50%, or 60%. I can't tell accurately. However, we have to be ready for worse."
Egima nodded her head. She can't refute the words of a foresight magician. While she was deep thinking, a perfect face of a tall man stuck in her mind.
"What about if Sarpa kavus helps us in the war? Presently he is also a member of the Holy forest tribe." She thought
But she quickly rejected her thoughts.
Sarpa Kavus is an innocent and kind child who is only good at support and daily life magic. His physical abilities are far away from normal Ancient Elves.
Queen Egima has never seen Sarva Kavus using any offensive magic in the last ten years. Although he formulated many magics, they all are daily life and support magic spells.
"Let's prepare for defense. Tell all the mages and warriors to get ready for the fight."
"Ok, your highness,"

I heard the news of a monster's horde attack from an official elf.
I wasn't surprised that they quickly found the monster horde. But I reacted surprised and shocked.
I was planning to help them as only a bystander healer. Besides, I know Queen Egima will not ask me for any help.
From my prospective, in this war, the Ancient elves would lose almost half of their population.
It will be the first time they will experience the pain, and it will also be the first time they will learn about the working of this world.
"Almost a half-day remains before the invasion of the monster horde. I hope queen Egima will be safe."
I realize that there is a pretty chance that she will lose her life in this war. It isn't in my previous calculations. However, fate is behaving unprecedentedly due to my presence.
It is known between all the powerful existence in the Universe that certain entities could not normally enter into any planet or planets will be destroyed due to their presence.
I am one of these cases. My power is limited in a Tier one mortal world.
I can't even counter fate at this level. The fate of this world is only in my hand when I observe them from the void.
Currently, I am merely a being who can watch or distract fate but could not change it.
If the death is written in the fate wheel of Queen Egima, then I would only watch. Although I could save her but something is better to remain unchanged.
**
I was standing at the back of the formation and could hear the sounds of strikes.
Monster hordes are ruthlessly attacking Ancient elves. They didn't give any chance to let Ancient elves use their full power.
It was clear that the war would go on for five hours more. Queen Egima's powers is enough to fight with the leader on equal foot. However, these monsters are something who withstand the cruel celestial plane for many years.
Experience gives dreadfully great pain and suffering, but he teaches like no other.
Queen Egima is a woman who views the world at 1000, the same as she did at 100 has wasted 900 years of her life. Her knowledge and potential were always restrained in a small pot.
After three hours, I feel like I'm outside myself.
I watch a huge monster drag a young ancient elf into the bush and strike him down to the grass, the dirt, and the fallen tree branches.
The monster's fists clutter his face, and it puts a hole in his stomach.
The young elf cries and begs. His voice twitches. "Don't kill me, don't kill me"
I see his eyes and make sure not to meet them. He washurt, but I ignore it.
This is the way of life. If it has not happened today, it might happen tomorrow.
I can smell how scared he is.
It pours out of him. It reaches up and stuffs itself into my nose. But I simply avoid him.
It is not like I am cruel. But I don't want to interpret the course of action, or it might backfire.
However, something happens which I never thought of. Just at the last moment, Queen Egima kills the huge monsters with her sword before monster could kill the young elf.
I sigh; she had shown the back of her opponent in the middle of the fight. Previously she was fighting with the leader of the monsters yet, she rushed to save the young elves.
I can't understand, is she is stupid? or a naive woman.
While I was thinking, a huge claw stabbed her back.
She tried to dash it, but her movement was a fraction of a second slow.
It is the time when the winner will be decided. However, I know the winner but watches it from afar.
After one hour
Queen Egima fiercely killed the leader and, victoriously raised her sword. Nonetheless, she had received heavy damages and couldn't fight anymore.
Besides, she is now half cripple. But I was happy she didn't die in the fight.
But I was wrong when I was reaching towards Queen Egima to heal her.
A monster used its innate racial skill to attack me from the back.
I was surprised. A lowly monster dared to attack me. He dared to disobey my order. Just as I was about to dodge it, someone jumped in front of me.
"So, it is the reason she died in one of the possibilities." Only these words come out of my mouth.
I glanced at her dying figure. Queen Egima's vitality was decreasing small by small. She was just a three-star mage, and her body was already full of injuries. This attack was enough to kill her.
She looked at me with a smile. I could see a drop of water in her eyes.
Suddenly, an unknown emotion appeared on my face.
I was puzzled. I don't understand these mixed feelings.
Unknowingly a single word comes out from my mouth, " Why?"
"The true warrior fights not because she hates what is in front of her, but because she loves what is behind her. Wasn't it your words? I simply fulfilled it."
As I hear her words, an unfamiliar pain strikes in my heart.
