Chapter 385: Ch 385: Golden Sun Sect
The Golden Sun Sect was a neighboring sect situated in the Region of Misty Peaks, approximately several tens of thousands of miles away from White City. This sect was slightly more powerful than the Thunder Sovereign Sect, yet the two maintained a friendly relationship.
According to the Heavenly Spirit Stone, Alex's parents were imprisoned in the Shattered Crystal Cavern, located in the deepest part of the Mithril Hollow, which is under the Golden Sun Sect's jurisdiction. This cavern is also being guarded by a warrior at the Void King Stage.
Alex and Aurelius's destination this time was the Region of Misty Peaks.
They flew at full speed and arrived at the location in less than an hour. Alex could have made the journey even quicker, but he had to slow down due to Aurelius's pace.
Alex and Aurelius soon reached the Region of Misty Peaks. It was a vast expanse of towering mountains shrouded in thick swirling mist that gave the entire area an ethereal and mysterious atmosphere. The peaks were jagged and sharp. Their surfaces were slick with dew and covered in patches of dark green moss.
Enormous trees grew along the mountain slopes, their twisted roots burrowing into the rocky terrain, while streams of crystal-clear water cascaded down the cliffs, feeding into deep shimmering pools below.
The mist hung heavily in the air, moving like ghostly tendrils, occasionally parting to reveal narrow stone paths winding their way through the mountains. Above, the sky appeared muted gray with only faint rays of sunlight piercing through the thick clouds.
"So, this is the Region of Misty Peaks," Alex muttered silently in his heart. Years ago, he heard stories about this place from the elders of the White Family. They spoke of the mystical aura that surrounded these mountains, the powerful beasts that roamed its misty pathways, and the powerful experts and disciples of the Golden Sun Sect.
Back then, it was merely a far-off legend to him. It was a place that he never imagined he would one day set foot in.
Now, standing here with Aurelius by his side, he couldn't help but sigh. He felt a surge of nostalgia.
Alex's target this time was Golden Sun Sect. He didn't bother to look for Shattered Crystal Cavern which is located in Mithril Hollow.

Alex's decision was to visit the sect leader of Golden Sun Sect and ask why his parent was forced into mining. Depending on the answer, he'll decide what to do with this sect.
If it had been anyone else with strength as formidable as Alex's, they might have simply destroyed the Golden Sun Sect. However, Alex was different. He was considerate and didn't want to harm innocent disciples and elders who were not involved in his parents' current predicament.
As Alex and Aurelius approached the Golden Sun Sect, the sight that unfolded before them was both majestic and imposing. Nestled among the towering peaks of the Region of Misty Peaks, the sect's sprawling compound was a blend of beauty and grandeur.
The entrance was marked by a massive gate of gold which was intricately adorned with symbols of the sun. This also reflected the sect's name. Right in front of the gate were two towering statues of giant beasts. Although these two are just statues, Alex can tell that they are actually the core of an offensive formation.
If it is an enemy, the guards standing at the entrance can directly activate the formation and attack.
When Alex and Aurelius arrived in front of the entrance, they were stopped by the guards.
None of the two were polite with guards. A powerful aura erupted from their bodies which instantly suppressed the guards.
The guards were frightened. In their eyes, these two people were monsters. They've never felt such terrifying auras. If these auras were just a little bit stronger, they would have been enough to kill these two pitiful guards.
Ignoring the guards, Alex and Aurelius stepped past the entrance.
As they walked, they also observed the layout of the Golden Sun Sect. The sect's main palace was a magnificent structure built from a blend of polished stone and rare materials that caught the light at various angles, making it appear as though it was bathed in a perpetual golden glow. The hall was surrounded by lush gardens, where rare flowers and trees thrived.
The buildings within the sect were designed with an elegant structure.
In the distance, Alex and Aurelius could see training fields and sparring arenas where disciples were practicing their martial skills.
Alex glanced at the information panel of a few people before shaking his head. None of them had any treasure worth his attention.
Ignoring everyone, Alex went straight to the main palace.
.....
Inside the grand hall of the Golden Sun Sect, the sect leader, clad in golden robes, sat with a stern expression. Around him were several elders, their faces creased with concern. The atmosphere was tense as they gathered to discuss a pressing matter that threatened the entire sect.
"Sect Leader, what should we do? Yu Huan might seek revenge very soon. He has already reached the Extreme Void Stage, and we are certainly no match for him. If we don't think of a method to deal with him soon, we might have to disturb our ancestral master." One of the elders presented his worry in front of the sect leader and several other elders.
Another elder stood up, his voice trembling slightly with worry. "Sect Leader, Second Elder is right. The situation is becoming more dire with each passing day. Yu Huan is no longer a simple threat. His thirst for vengeance is known throughout the region. We cannot ignore the fact that he is coming for us."
The sect leader leaned back in his chair and rubbed his temples. "I am well aware of Yu Huan's strength. But we cannot act rashly. Attacking him head-on would be suicide. He is no longer the man he once was. His power surpasses that of our entire sect combined.
Only the Ancestral Master has the strength to face him, but his lifespan is coming to an end. We can't wake him up randomly."
Everyone nodded their heads. They knew this and it is exactly one of the reasons they were worried.
Another elder spoke up. His tone was urgent. "Sect Leader, what about the Shattered Crystal Cavern? Yu Huan has every reason to come after it. We annihilated his entire family just to snatch the Shattered Crystal Cavern from the Yu Family. We need to bolster our defenses around the Mithril Hollow."
The sect leader nodded. "We must strengthen our forces around the cavern. Yu Huan may head there first. I will personally assign my disciple to guard the area."
An elder with a more cautious demeanor interrupted, "But Sect Leader, I'm afraid this is not enough. Even with our strongest forces, we may not be able to withstand Yu Huan's assault. His grudge runs deep, and his power... it's beyond anything we've seen. Perhaps we should consider negotiating or..."
"Negotiating?!" another elder interrupted, his voice filled with indignation. "Do you believe someone as driven by revenge as Yu Huan will negotiate? You should know we've annihilated his entire family years ago. He will not rest until our sect is destroyed!"
Tap! Tap! Tap!
While these people were still discussing a serious matter, the sounds of footsteps entered their ears, making them appear annoyed.
This was a critical moment of discussion, and no one wanted to be disturbed.
Just as the Sect Leader was about to flare up, a powerful suppression descended in the grand hall which caused everyone to feel difficulty in breathing. Even Sect Leader, a Void King Stage warrior was no exception.
Everyone's heart trembled and a bad feeling rose in their hearts.
Could it be that Yu Huan has already come?
They wanted to raise their heads to look, unfortunately, the suppression was so great that moving a finger was extremely difficult, let alone raising their heads.
This was just a casual suppression. Alex didn't even erupt with his aura and everyone within the grand hall was terrified.
Glancing around at the hall filled with people, Alex spoke with a cold voice, "Leader of the Golden Sun Sect, I've come for my parents who have been treated as slaves and forced to mine in the Shattered Crystal Cavern. You have one hour to bring them to me with the utmost respect, or you'll face the consequences."
"Their names are Calix White and Usha Cava!"
By the time Alex finished speaking, the suppression of everyone had disappeared.
All of them heaved a sigh of relief and slowly raised their heads. They were all terrified by Alex and already knew none of them were his match. In fact, even if their Ancestral Master woke up, he might be killed by Alex instantly. The sensation Alex gave them was unfathomable.
To their surprise, they saw Alex already seated in the Sect Leader's chair. The Sect Leader himself was standing before Alex, a look of utter confusion on his face, as if he had no memory of when or how he even left his seat.
Aurelius stood behind Alex to his left, his face emotionless and indifferent.
