Chapter 32: Evil Disguised As Good

Chapter 32: Evil Disguised As Good

After several days of anticipation, Seba's call finally came. He delivered the good news of securing the ecstasy for pickup the next day, but his tone quickly shifted to a more serious note as he mentioned the bad news. "There's one problem, The nameless, I'll be there with my boss. He's a powerful man, so please be careful around him."

"Why is that bad news?" i asked nervously, my hands sweating thinking he wasn't able to get the full amount of ecstasies.

"I get a percentage of the product I sell."

I quickly realized what he meant. "Ah, I see. So essentially, if I impress him and show potential, he'll cut you out of the deal and directly supply me making you lose future money. Am I right?" I carelessly commented, taking a deep breath relaxing, relieved that it wouldn't have any negative impact on me. With that realization, I proceeded to lower my pants, preparing to piss on the toilet.

Seba's frustration seeped over the phone as he confirmed my suspicion. "Yeah, he wants all the profits for himself. I'm just the middleman who finds the fucking customers, and when i find huge customers he steals them away leaving me with pennies."..."Wait, what's that sound I hear?"

"Oh, nothing much. Just watering the plants, you know, haha." I stumbled over my words, making up an excuse. I didn't want him to feel like I didn't care about his problem even tho I didn't care. But curiosity got the best of me, and I couldn't resist delving deeper. "Anyways If he's such a problem, why did you even tell him about me?"

A hint of fear laced Seba's voice as he responded, "I had to. If he found out I was hiding something, he'd kill me. The Nameless please, don't do any deals with him. I've heard rumors that all his personal customers ended up dead. Stick with me, and I'll provide you with as much ecstasy as you need, trust me." He pleaded, desperately trying to keep me on his side.

Witnessing his desperation, I reassured him, "Don't worry, I'm not that type of person. I won't betray you," I said, though my thoughts whispered a different tale. "Hell yea! This is my chance to make more money, fuck him."

After assuring Seba of my loyalty, he thanked me and provided the precise details of our meeting location and time.

clearly he did not want me to meet his distributor, but for me, it was a fantastic opportunity to buy ecstasy at a lower cost making my profit larger.

Ending the call with Seba, I pulled up my pants up and made my way back to the classroom, only to be greeted by the loud shouts of my teacher.

"Dionis, how dare you leave the classroom without my premisions! Do you know what..."

Ignoring his words, I walked to my seat and sat down, not bothering to argue with him. It didn't take long for the teacher to realize that I didn't care what he was saying. so he left me alone, continuing with his lesson.

Resting my forehead on the edge of the table, I quietly retrieved my phone from underneath and started playing games to pass the time. However, the monotony of the game quickly bored me, and I closed it, realizing that I had an important task at hand. I needed to contact Eman.

Swiftly typing out a text message, I reached out to Eman, ordering a meeting in Ipoz after school to discuss the preparations for tomorrow's mission. Time was of the essence, and coordination was vital for a successful operation.

Time flew, and it was the end of the school day. Without bothering to visit the cafeteria, I went straight home. Once there, I ran to the kitchen and prepared a big sandwich. With the food in hand I left the house, eating it on the way to Ipoz.

Upon my arrival, I was taken aback by what I saw: the area was overrun with fucking drug addicts injecting themselves with needles. to be frank I got scared, causing me to retreat to a hidden corner. It was in that moment that I dialed Eman's number without hesitation.

"Yo Dionis I'm near, why are you so fucking impatient?" Eman's voice crackled through the phone.

"Eman, bring all the boys to Ipoz right now! It's filled with junkies," I whispered urgently, trying to keep my voice low.

His response was nonchalant. "So what? They can do their thing while we do ours, right?"

"No! We haven't been here for a month and junkies are flooding this place. What do you think will happen when more arrive?" I asked him, expressing my concern.

Eman's reply reflected his intelligence. "Hmm, I don't think anything will happen. What's the worst that could happen hahaha?"

"You dumbass! The cops will close this place down. I want Ipoz to be our headquarters in the future, I already have plans of reconstructing it when we grow larger." I frustratingly explained.

pretending to comprehend my point, he said "Alright, chill bro. I'll call everyone right away,"

"Good, hurry the fuck up!" I exclaimed before abruptly ending the call.

As I stood in the corner defenseless I realized how vulnerable I am without people protecting me even with my MMA experience.

The crackheads noticed me but for the most part left me alone. However, one of them, from a distance, gestured for me to join him on the filthy floor littered with debris and needles. He seemed to be around 50 years old.

With cautious steps, I approached him, the shattered glass beneath my feet producing a crunching sound. I glanced down at him.

"Hey there, young man. How old are you? You look quite young," he inquired while injecting heroin into his system.

"Umm hey gramps how are you today ha ha ha?" I nervously laughed, placing my jacket on the floor and sitting a meter apart from him.

"Don't be so nervous, kid. I won't hurt you. But why are you here?" he asked, his nearly closed eyes, reflecting exhaustion, as he analyzed me.

"I don't know, to be honest," I replied, trying to find an excuse but failing.

He sighed, his eyes filled with sorrow. "Hmm, well, it's better for you to leave. This place is hell,"

Intrigued by his response, I look into further. "Why are you here, then?"

"It's a long story. You probably won't want to hear it," he said, sounding defeated and almost tearing up.

"No, no. I want to hear it. Please tell me," I urged him.

He hesitated for a moment, as if contemplating whether or not to share his tale. Eventually, he relented. "Okay, since you're so insistent. Let me tell you. I was once a happy father and husband, but it was all destroyed by one person," he began, starting to feel his rage. "My daughter who was 19 at that time fell in love with an older guy than her, his name was Aiden. They would hang out every day after school, and after a year of dating, Aiden proposed to her."

I interjected, assuming it was a happy story. "Isn't that a happy story? Why would you end up here, then?"

"Let me finish, boy. Those happy memories came crashing down one day when I returned home from work. There, I found my daughter hanging from the ceiling, lifeless." he said, his voice trembling.

"What?! Why?" I gasped.

"I fell to my knees and started bawling my eyes out in front of my daughter's corpse hanging. After a few minutes, I regained my composure and noticed my wife in a complete shocked state. I called the ambulance, and both were taken to the hospital. But, alas, my sweet little girl was lost forever," he continued, tears streaming down his weathered face.

"Dayum! Ahem, I'm sorry for your loss gramps," I said sympathetically.

"That's not the end of the st-story. After my wife was discharged from the hospital, we tried living our life forgetting that my daughter e-existed. But my wife couldn't bear the weight of that loss. After a couple of weeks, she, too, hung herself in the same place as our daughter. When I stumbled upon that scene, my sanity shattered, and I screamed so loud that the windows cracked until the police arrived to calm me down,"

"Fucking hell, gramps. Why the hell did your daughter kill herself in the first place?" I asked.

"I'll explain in a moment, but first let me finish. A few weeks passed, and the funerals for my wife and daughter were held simultaneously. After the ceremony, I stayed behind while everyone left, except for one person - Aiden. He approached me and patted my shoulder, saying he was relieved his wife died. I was shocked and filled with rage. I grabbed his collar and demanded an explanation. Aiden in a sadistic tone and an evil smile revealed that he had given my daughter cocaine when she complained of a headache or any pain related stuff, telling her it was medication for pain relief. Over time, she became addicted and couldn't live without it. Aiden did this because he 'loved' her so much that he wanted her to be completely dependent on him. Overtime he grew tired of her, stopping the supply of cocaine. As a result, without knowing why she was so miserable she took her own life, and my wife followed suit soon after. All of this happened because of that bastard, Aiden Krasniqi."

A sudden realization struck me. "Krasniqi? Wait, so Adem had a son all this time?" "Oh right, I'm sorry, man. That's an unimaginable tragedy. I promise you, I'll destroy the Krasniqi family, not only for your sake but for my own gain as well," I vowed with determination.

"Hahahah you're acting like they're a criminal family, Just go home already," he replied wiping his tears with a wide smile on his face.

As if on cue, Eman and the rest of our crew finally arrived at the scene ready to kick the junkies out.
