Rein just needed to wait for a little bit and soon his two partners for the expedition came. They flew at their highest speed to meet up with Rein as soon as possible. Both of them were extremely excited to go on their first real adventure and with their beloved none the less. So both of them were extremely happy.

But before starting the expedition, Rein took out quite a few items. They were all gears and accessories that he had prepared to keep everyone safe including his own self. Those included various items made to boost the power of a mage and also various items with defensive capabilities. He was going all out to make sure that his girls were safe and sound.

This was a ruin where at least a rank 5 mage had stayed for some time. So as a rank 5 mage himself, Rein was aware of their true strength. Even though the gap between a rank 5 and a rank 6 was extremely large, rank fives were easily able to go against a while nation of that nation did not have a magus. That was the reason why Rein was so cautious.

At first they explored the same area that the evil organisation had found a little bit more. Soon Luna noticed something and told Rein about it. She had read quite a few books about architecture and from her knowledge she judged that the area where they were was actually the outermost part of the building.

Rein was aware of that a lot more area was unexplored as he was able to find a large area that was still buried. But he was not aware that this was outermost area. So the things that could be found here were not that valuable. So for the book to be here was really a big coincidence.

After blasting away one part of the rabble, the door behind it came to view. This was the entrance to the inner area of the building accordingly to Rein and Luna's calculation. After entering the area, Rein was immediately convinced that his idea was correct. This place was definitely more important than the previous area. There were many valuable items and scrolls lying around in this area.

Even though most of the items had become useless due to the passage of time, the books were still very valuable. Luna was overjoyed to so many books and according to her, there were even books which she had not seen even in the royal library. They were also able to find a few books discussing about the ideal of the Order, and according to Luna this was a very important discovery.

From all this it was clear that this place was not just any hideout that the order of Ramna was using. There was a high possibility that this was the headquarters for the Magic Kingdom of Gilthar. For the first half, the exploration was very smooth. Rein, Luna and Lopas were able to find quite a few valuable books and even a decently strong item that had not completely stopped working.

But this was still a dangerous place and soon some of the dangers started showing up. The first obstacle that they faced was a magically constructed golem. But as this golem was just equivalent to a rank 2 mage, Luna alone was able to take care of it.

Then more and more trouble started to show up. At first Luna and Lopas were able to handle them all but when finally a fourth grade magic circle showed up, Rein had to step up.

This magic circle was extremely troublesome and anyone who was hit by it would have their soul trapped. Obviously as now this magic circle did not have its creator, the trapped soul would be able to come out and even would be able mt return to their body if the body was intact and the willpower of the soul was not low.

Just like that while handling various deadly traps, all three of them continued going further in. Soon they came across a large hall. But surprisingly this whole place was empty.

Among all the areas of this building that they had visited before. None of the place was empty. It was clear that disaster stuck this place quickly and the people present here were unable to run away and died immediately. Rein was not sure what kind of magic was used here. But one thing was for sure. A magus was responsible for the state of the building.

Just like Rien, Luna and Lopas also found the eerily clean hall to be a mystery. So Rein checked it out in detail with his eye of truth. At first he did not notice anything. But after checking every nook and cranny of the hall, Rein was able to find a very well hidden secret door.

After finding the door, all three of them did not wasted any time and immediately opened it. The door was protected with several magic formations but after years of wears and tears, it was in a terrible state. So Rein did not need much time to open it.

While investigating those magic formation, one thing became clear to Rein. The mage who was responsible for creating them was a rank 5 mage just like him. If these magic formations were not already weakened significantly, then even he would have a hard time breaking them.

After opening the door, Rein and his girls went in with excited faces. Inside they were able to find exactly what they were hoping. A lot of magic items, scrolls and grimoires were here. And because of the special nature of this hidden room, all those items were well preserved.

After checking everything out, Rein judged that the total value of the items found in this room was almost equivalent to a common marquis' property. But the most interesting thing that he had found was not the valuables but a diary. So Rein was looking forward to what was written in it.
