Chapter 72: [Before the Fight!]
[Location: Near the Back Gate of the Castle!]
The group of Mark, Alice and Alex moved towards the room where Luke had seen the vampire slaves. Although he was pretty much wounded, Luke followed behind them as well. His reasons included that those bats were somehow able to bring up horrifying memories from his deepest fears, and if that could be solved, he could easily fight alongside the others as well.
One step at a time, they slowly moved towards the room while keeping their surroundings in check. Mark, being the one who can somehow sense those monsters, was on the front, while Alice and Alex were on the rear in case something appeared from behind.
Took a few minutes, but the group reached the room at the corner where Luke saw what he saw.
"What were you even doing here?" Alex asked, a bit confused, to which Luke shook his head in dejection and spoke,"I was trying to find the bathroom."
"Here?" Alex was even more confused to which Luke just pressed his lips before nodding.
-Creak!
Alice slowly opened the door for Mark, while Mark kept his bow ready. Though an ominous feeling suddenly rose in everyone's hearts, as they felt the dirty aura coming out of the room.
"[Blessing of the Ice!]" Alice chanted silently, as she helped the rest of the members, improving their mental state, before they all calmed down. It wasn't a skill but a form of power that she learned during her time in the Ice Palace. It was one of the two things she learned at that time given the little time she had.
Though the concentration and mana required is 3 times more than what a skill would have. And honestly, she can't chant it continuously either or else she would just faint from the mental exhaustion it puts her into.
-Shot!
Mark shot the arrow as soon as he found the presence of a monster, before he prepared 5 more arrows. His eyes narrowed in the room, through the small open gap created by opening the door.
-Shot! Shot! Shot! Shot! Shot!
Five more shots at once, Mark killed a bunch of monsters, before he looked at Alice and nodded. She then slowly opened up the entire door and the foul stench of blood spread all around them.

Even though they were under the effect of Alice's spell, they were still feeling uneasy with the stench, the aura and even the whole atmosphere of the room in front of them.
"What are you guys doing?" A voice came from behind the group.
"Fuck!" Alex shouted as he reflexively used his fist to attack the person behind them.
-Bam!
Though that fist blocked easily by the kid standing behind them.
A blue eyed, brown haired kid, wearing a casual t-shirt over his shorts, He stood there as he looked at the group with an excited smile. It didn't seem like he was a native of this world, so most probably another player?
"Who are you?" Alice asked with a narrowed look before he answered with a really excited smile,"my name is Percy Milton. Can I join you all? You guys seem really fun!"
…
[Location: At the Front Gate of the Castle!]
"They are a type of vampires. Or more like beings who have obtained the power of vampires. Their power levels are roughly base C-Grade each, the left one is strength type while the right one is mana type," Emily counted all the things she saw about those twins in front of her.
Though the twins were surprised, there wasn't really a change in their expression as they didn't believe that these kids could do anything to them.
That was until Emily continued again,
"As long as any fire, electricity or holy type of energy is used, they would receive 3 to 5 times more damage. Also, if you have any wood or silver elemental weapon, that would be highly effective against them."
Narrowing their eyes at Emily, the twins observed her with a slight flare in their eyes. It was a different thing to find the information about the enemies but to take a look and find their weakness right on the spot… that was way too dangerous for them.
'We must capture her,' the twins decided at that spot as they began walking towards Emily.
-Shot!
A fire filled arrow was shot in the twin's direction, right in the middle of them, while they jumped at the sides, avoiding that arrow.
-BOOOM!!!
The arrow created an explosion somewhat damaging the twins, and they were now pretty much glaring at the girls.
"The guards are coming," Julia spoke as she looked at the guards finally taking action, as they were surrounding the girls. Samantha was pretty much focused on the twins as she simply commanded Julia,
"Neutralize them. They are barely D-Grade."
Nodding, Julia simply waved at the guards with a smile before pointing her finger at them," you shouldn't threaten young girls, you know? It's not something gentlemen do."
"Do we look like gentlemen to you?" The guard spoke with a sudden evil smile appearing on his face though…
-Thud!
He then fell on the ground, paralyzed, unable to speak a single word. He was trying his best to move but the paralysis poison was too strong for him.
"Well. You certainly don't," Julia said before she pointed her finger at the other guards before speaking,"sweet dreams," and shooting another poison needle from her gloves.
"Your gloves always makes me jealous," Olivia spoke as she then moved towards Flare and Samantha, before touching them and using one of her skills she got from her [Gift: Gravity Manipulation!].
She reduced the weight of Samantha and Flare to a certain extent, allowing them to increase their speed much more than they could normally show. Olivia then applied gravity magic on the greatsword that she took out from her inventory, and easily picked it up before moving in front of Emily as the last line of defense.
As for Mira, she was the healer and buffer of the group. She chanted a couple of skills at Flare and Samantha, increasing their attack power at least by 50%.
Given that Flare was a Fire elemental user that excelled in hand to hand combat, and the spear that Samantha was using was a wood type, the difficulty of fight was reduced by at least 60%.
"All right girls. This is our first official fight after the training. Let's do our best!" Olivia spoke as she increased the morale of the group, while the twins who had somewhat recovered from the previous blast, were now running towards the group of girls.
…
[Adrian's POV!]
'It seems some of them have already started fighting. Well it would be a good battle experience for them,' I thought as I stood there on the balcony observing the empty forest ahead of me.
I had already explained the gist of the situation to the group, and they too were moving towards their designated locations. With this, I should be able to conquer the front gate, the back gate, the underground slave area and the Saintess. All that's left is the Prince who was currently sleeping in his room.
"What should I do after I conquer this kingdom? The players won't be enough to rule it, and if what I am thinking is correct then I can't stay here for long after the entire mess is cleared," I sighed as I stretched a little.
The first problem can be solved if the Vampire Prince's mental state is somewhat stable. Though the latter… it was making me wonder just how big the range of this tutorial was?
It was just an idea really. But given how 50 of the 500 students survived in the first phase of the tutorial, one can assume at least 500 million players are there from our world that made it to the next tutorial.
And given that all the 500 million players were sent in this world, there was a high chance that other players were teleported to an area much different from here, but in the same world.
'On the chance that those players are in this world, what if they appeared in a place where the vampires rule the city? Or perhaps in a place where the humans were, like that other planet? What are the chances of us fighting against other players later if the war starts?'
Once again my mind began thinking, or perhaps overthinking in this case.
-Slap!
I then slapped myself tightly, before taking a deep breath. Clearing my mind, I once again focused on the task at hand. Let's deal with what we can before worrying about things that didn't even happen.
Putting on my mask, I then erased my presence. And then moving towards the underground direction, I searched for a peculiar person on the [Map!] that I needed if I wanted to make plans much smoother.
There were many things that I saw in the underground that made me sigh. But given I had already sent someone to deal with the situation there, I think Invar would be more appropriate to punish them than I was. After all, he really loved children a lot. I could only wonder what would happen to those bastards once Invar sees the condition that they had put the children in.
'Found you,' I smiled as I found the guy on the map that I was looking for, before I observed the condition he was in. A sigh escaped my mouth before I began moving towards him, much faster than before. A flare once again was boiling in my mind as I questioned…
'Why do humans always tend to fall so low?'
