The First Store System

The two didn't know that Aakesh and the system clearly had no ulterior motive behind inviting Huan.

He only wanted one beast at the moment, so he chose the one which would give him a more powerful beast. He then joined the queue and waited for his turn.

While waiting, he and the creature were again fighting a war of words. Huan had only one requirement for the summoned beast. He only wanted it to be any of the ones his late wife had, whereas the creature asked for a powerful beast that could help him combat-wise.

"Fuck it! I will get one from that pillar also," Huan yelled in anger after the creature threatened him with possessing him to get a beast of its liking.

"Only if an idiot like you can understand things quickly," The creature sneered. It didn't worry about the store harming it.

Even though the creature and Huan had different personalities, they had the same origin. Whether the creature was in control or if it were Huan, there was nothing wrong with both cases.

Other customers in the line also heard Huan, so they angrily looked at him, gesturing for him to stay silent.

Huan wanted to fly out in rage since the customer gesturing at him was only a Lesser God. He could kill that bug with a simple wave of his hand.

But was suddenly stunned into shock. The creature, seeing that Huan was about to fly in rage and put the two of them in a life-threatening situation, immediately apologized.

"I am sorry for calling you an idiot."

Huan stood there stunned for a while since it was the first instance of the creature apologizing. Even when he was lied to and had to run for several days, the creature further gaslighted him.

Huan's eyes suddenly lit up since he seemed to have found a new way to show the creature its place.

"Okay, I will forgive you this once. But if you ever call me an idiot again, only you will be responsible for the repercussions."

The creature simply scoffed in response to Huan's threat, but it still smiled on the outside, showing that it had understood.

Huan was careful with his actions since he couldn't always use the same strategy to make the creature apologize. He needed to learn to be content, so he decided to wait for some time before he tried the action again.

"Sorry for that," Huan then apologized to the man who had the Lesser God cultivation.

The man simply nodded and turned around, and at that time, his entire back was cold with sweat. He had carelessly gestured at the man in a loud posture to stay silent, but only after that did he notice the higher cultivation.

He was safe inside the store, but no one else was coming to save him outside the store. The man immediately promised to stay far from the store for some time after making the purchase.
