Chapter 420 417- The Star Bound Continent (6)
Mo Zhe's hand instinctively shot out to blast these white specks away, thinking this was some sort of attack. But after destroying them he realize more was beginning to fall. They increase to the point where they were covering him.
"W-What is this?!"
Mo Zhe cried out before a burst of aura erupted from his body and sent these numerous white specks flying in all directions.
He wasn't the only one reacting like this, all of the disciples on the ship began to panic upon seeing these white specks falling nonstop around them.
When they looked up the disciples realized these white specks were freely falling through the ship's barrier from the night sky for some reason.
From his elevated position, Shi Lei Hu looked at the disciples' reactions and he tried not to laugh.
"Haha, they're still kids who haven't experienced the world yet."
Elder Hong said from next Shi Lei Hu.
He was the one that allowed these white specks to pass through the ship's barrier unimpeded.
"What are these things?"
Jun was heard asking as he raised his hand to catch a few of these white specks in his palm.
"Bastard Jun, don't just touch them without knowing what they are!"
Mu Fan who was wildly swinging his sheathed saber around to avoid these white specks falling on him stopped and went to grab Jun's hand.
Jun, however, was quick to move his hand out of the way as he said.
"Stop overreacting, if this was dangerous the elder wouldn't allow them to pass through the ship's barrier."
Jun then watched as these white specks fell on his palm and cause his palm to become slightly wet.
"They're like ice but at the same time, they aren't. What are they?"

Jun concluded but still had on a confused expression.
The others did the same and caught a few in their hands.
"You're right junior brother, I feel a small concentration of the ice element in them. The water element is also prominent as well, but there's another that I don't recognize."
Yang Su was heard saying.
"Ugh, that's interesting but they're getting in my hair."
Tai said before he shook his head sending the white specks flying everywhere.
Lihua was silent while watching as the boys of the group freaked out over these white specks.
After rolling her eyes, she said.
"It's called snow, think of it as rain that becomes slightly frozen."
"Snow?"
"Frozen rain?"
"Why does the rain freeze?"
"Is it because of some Rune Formation?"
A bunched of questions suddenly came flying Lihua's way. She was forced to take a step back as a result.
"Ugh, your all being annoying, don't ask me anything!"
Being overwhelmed Lihua snapped and turn her back to them.
But in truth, she couldn't answer some of their questions even if she wanted to. She had only read a description of what snow was, and that it occurs in extremely cold environments.
How would she know how it snowed and what caused it?
Seeing Lihua's reaction, all the boys wore awkward expressions before going back to marvel at this white stuff called snow.
Lihua still upset soon had her attention on the falling snow as well.
The disciples on the ship had calmed down by now after realizing they weren't in any danger. They began catching the snow in their hands and playing with it.
If anyone looked at the ship at this moment they would find the disciples' fascination with snow somewhat hilarious. But it was understandable as this was the first time they saw falling snow.
The Maple Continent was southwards, but they weren't like the Star Bound Continent which was extremely south to get the type of weather conditions they have.
"Hey look! I can see something in the distance!"
A shout suddenly echoed out and the disciples momentarily forgot about the snowflakes to look in the distance.
The faint outline of land could be seen as the night was starting to become day.
"It's the Star Bound Continent! We're finally here!"
All of a sudden the disciples remembered what this journey was for and all of their focus went to the Chosen Tournament.
It truly wasn't their fault since the situation they were previously in didn't give them time to get excited about competing against the many geniuses in the Chosen tournament or watch the matches of those geniuses.
But as of now, their hearts were beating rapidly and their blood was beginning to boil in excitement.
"Alright, all disciples form your respective groups and get ready, we're about to reach the Star Bound Continent!"
As Shi Lei Hu said that, a cacophony of noise erupted as the disciples began cheering to release their excitement.
They weren't only cheering for the upcoming Chosen Tournament, but because they finally escaped that stressful situation where they thought they were going to die.
Numerous disciples could be seen raising their heads to the sky and letting out a bellowing roar.
The ones who were relatively calm soon felt the atmosphere was getting to them, and though they didn't shout like their fellow disciples, they still clenched their fists and stared at the Star Bound Continent with gleaming eyes.
"Elder brother."
Jun came up to Yang Su who had stepped towards the edge of the ship to look at the Star Bound Continent. He heard Jun and turned to look at him.
Coming up to Yang Su's side Jun said.
"We'll finally be able to find Master. No, we'll definitely find him so he can help you resolve your problem."
Jun smiled at Yang Su as he said that.
Yang Su hearing this smiled back, but it seemed forced. Though he looked away before Jun could question it.
"Yeah, we'll finally find Master."
Jun heard Yang Su mumbled that under his breath, and his smile left his lips as he looked at him with worry.
But before Jun could ask if Yang Su was okay, a disciple suddenly released a bloodcurdling scream.
The scream was very loud, and everyone heard it before turning to look.
A female disciple was seen holding her arm that had a patch of blue in the middle of her palm. This patch of blue was slowly growing larger. As it grew to cover her enter hand her screams became louder and more frightened.
Looking at her arm the first thing that would come to mind was that it was being frozen.
Shi Lei Hu immediately made a move and appeared in front of the girl before waving his palm over her hand.
Immediately wisps of blue energy started to be forced out of the girl's fingertips.
The disciples in the surroundings upon feeling this blue energy all cried out before quickly retreating with pale faces.
"W-What is that energy? It feels as if it was going to freeze my body and soul."
"Yeah, how terrifying."
As the disciples began to panic, Shi Lei Hu turned to them and yelled.
"Everyone, don't touch the snow for long periods of time without circulating your Internal Qi!"
Elder Hong had a solemn expression as he stood up and began forming hand seals to block out the snow.
However, Shi Lei Hu hurriedly said to him.
"No, elder Hong. They're going to leave the ship so they need to get used to the environment. Let up the barrier some more."
Elder Hong hesitated, but only for a moment before his hand seals changed.
The disciple seeing more snowflakes falling onto the ship began to panic.
