Chapter 205: [Dimension Create] Skill

Chapter 205: [Dimension Create] Skill

Axel's PoV:

I knew that Mathew didn't choose a skill that would reduce or even remove the side effect of his [Universal Steal] cheat skill since he wouldn't be able to use it that much in a battle.

Mathew had needed one skill which was the skill that I found out that he was currently using to hide. It was one of the most needed skills for him to use alongside the [Universal Steal] cheat skill.

Yes, it was a skill that allows Mathew to create a dimension and since creating a dimension would create a space for him, he could use the dimension to store all of the artifacts and skill scrolls that he had stolen.

By doing so, he could erase all of the evidence of him stealing artifacts and skill scrolls from the beings of the world.

Even a demon lord shouldn't be able to destroy or intrude on a dimension, right? I do hope so since it could be used as one of our trump cards if things went south.

Fighting against the demon lords without any skill to help us escape unharmed was like risking our necks to be decapitated.

Now that Mathew had obtained a skill that would let him store items in his dimension and also enter his created dimension, we wouldn't need to worry about our escape plan.

Since I couldn't see where Mathew was, then he must be inside his dimension. That meant that he could let living beings inside his dimension.

I could also let living beings inside my system storage but not myself which w some sort of weakness of my system storage.

That was why I could store the Dragon King inside my system storage.

I was currently channeling my divinity around my body so that must be why I could sense the presence of Mathew even though he was hiding at a different dimension.

To test that hypothesis, I canceled my [Divinity] skill and I then wasn't able to sense Mathew's presence anymore.

With my divinity, I should be able to easily perceive the presence of living beings near me.

Maybe, if I channeled my divinity towards my eyes, I might be able to see through illusions and other magical deceptions.

After I thought about that, I tried if channeling my divinity towards my eyes would have some kind of effect and as expected, there was indeed an effect.

My blue eyes changed into color gold while my vision was enhanced by a huge margin. I was now able to see far distances and at a much farther distance than when I channeled my mana into my eyes.

Also, I found out that I could see through matter so I was able to see through the inside of the trees or the objects behind the trees.

But, that was not all. I discovered that my divine eyes could see through clothes so if I used them, I would see my teammates without any clothes.

But it also doesn't mean that I couldn't turn that feature off. I only turned on the features that could see through matter except for clothes and could see through illusions.

After practicing using the [Divine Eyes] skill that I had personally made, I proceeded to use other skills along with the [Divinity] skill.

The first skill I used was the mana shield skill. I created a shield that was made out of divinity instead of mana and so a shield-shaped layer of protection filled with golden color appeared in front of me.

I then created another layer of the divine shield in front of me until the divine shield in front of me had 20 layers.

My divinity capacity in my mana pool wasn't that huge but not that small either. So, I was able to cast it a lot of times without exhausting my divinity reserves.

The second skill I used was [Wind Blade] but instead of compressed air being generated by my mana, a compressed golden-colored slash was generated in front of me with the use of my divinity.

The compressed golden-colored slash headed towards the trees in front of me and it cut through the trees causing the trees to fall.

I generated at least a hundred compressed golden-colored slashes that destroyed the entire forest that was in front of me.

Some of my teammates witnessed the damage my attack had caused which caused their jaws to drop.

I was only using low-tier magic skills so it was already good that I could cause a lot of damage just by combining my divinity with it.

The third skill that I had combined my divinity with was my [Dragon Roar] skill which I rarely used.

This time, I channeled my divinity towards my vocal cords and my mouth and after that, I released a deafening roar that was much louder and intimidating than an average dragon.

My divinity-enhanced [Dragon Roar] skill caused the surrounding trees to burst out a due shockwave that was caused by the loud sound.

I then used the [Dragon Roar] skill towards the sky and it caused the clouds to dissipate from the atmosphere.

My [Divinity] skill was just too OP! Well, it would be weird if it wasn't considering it was the energy that was used by the Gods and other divine beings.

After I practiced the divinity-enhanced [Dragon Roar] skill several times, I decided that I would combine another skill of mine with the [Divinity] skill.

This time, I decided to combine the [Dragon Wings] skill with my [Divinity] skill which caused the rainbow-colored wings that protruded on my back to be covered in golden-colored light.

I felt that the rainbow-colored wings that were covered with golden-colored light were much more durable than the previous version of my [Dragon Wings] skill.

I was on the ground and as I flapped the rainbow-colored wings that were covered in golden-colored light once, I flew directly into the sky in an instant.

It was like I had teleported towards the sky due to how fast my improved [Dragon Wings] skill was at flying. Even I was surprised by the huge margin of improvement in my [Dragon Wings] skill's flight speed.

Afterward, I didn't continue improving my current skills with my newly gained energy known as "Divinity".

The reason for that was because I had to use my nature magic with Aerin to fix the surroundings that my teammates' attack and my attack had caused.

The other reason was that I had felt a sinister presence heading towards my teammates and me and it seemed to be coming from two beings.

The only being that could release such a sinister presence was a demon lord so it was possible that my teammates and I had to fight another demon lord after we had just defeated one earlier.

For some reason, the demon lords were able to locate my teammates and I so they must have possessed a skill of some sort that allowed them to see our current location.

It sucked to know that I couldn't find any ways to hinder the tracking skill of the demon lords and the only thing that came to my mind was that my teammates and I could enter a dimension created by Mathew.

But, I quickly removed such a plan from my mind since Mathew's [Dimension Create] skill was our party's most valued trump card for now.

And for some reason, I was the only one who knew about that since my other teammates couldn't find where Mathew was hiding at.

I thought that it was for the best so that Mathew's skill wouldn't be leaked towards the demon lords if it just happened that one of my teammates happened to be a traitor to our party.

I wouldn't deny such a possibility and it might even be more possible than the demon lords' possessing a skill that allowed them to track my teammates and my location.

I didn't know the true personalities of my teammates except for Aerin, Alex, Pedonar, and Aileen since I was too focused on training my teammates instead of having a heart-to-heart talk with them.

I had not thought about it that much before since I was power-hungry because I was weak from before I upgraded my system to level 4 but now I realized how much it could contribute to our current situation.

If I knew the true intentions of my teammates, then I would have been able to eliminate some of my teammates from my mental list of suspects that would provide information towards the demon lords.

It was no doubt that the demon lords had the upper hand against us heroes since they were in this world long before we did.

The demon lords had a lot of advantages when it came to both information and power and the only advantage of us heroes was that we were more abundant in numbers compared to the demon lords.

Also, every demon lord that my teammates and I had killed would provide a tremendous boost in our group strength.

As I thought of that, I suddenly felt a blob of demonic mana heading towards us so I thought of a way to counter it and I needed to find out who the heck threw the blob of demonic mana towards us.
