The Kidnapped Bride

Chapter 552 - 552 Telling her the truth!

552 Telling her the truth!

Four cars stopped in Johnson’s household one after another. The guard opened the door for them and they slide in the ground after which they stood in front of the large entrance.

Charles got down from his car along with Sierra. On the other hand, Ellen had decided to join them with another car belonging to Javier. Javier was still not showing any emotions on his face, unlike how excited and nervous Sierra was.

But behind all the three cars, they all directed their eyes and saw another car coming in the ground. Everyone appeared bewildered at their sight. But at the same time, a smile beamed on Charles’s lips as he couldn’t help but feel happy.

“Why is Ryan here?” This time, Javier asked if he felt something abnormal. To him, Charles didn’t reply but gave some attention. “He is supposedly here for a better reason than any of us.”

Javier didn’t mind the riddles anymore. The five of them went inside the mansion to find the butler who walked up to them and payed respect. “Welcome home, Young Elder master, Second Young Master, Lady Sierra, Sir Ryan, Sir Ellen.”

All the five of them nodded their heads in acknowledgement. This time, they found the house to be filled with dread silence and loneliness. Everyone gazed at each other’s face, finding who will take the first step to ask, until Ryan’s eyes advanced to look above the stairs at the first floor, “Where is she?” Without taking her name, Ryan seemed to have conveyed his words.

“Miss is on the first floor in her room. Do you want me to call her down? I shall.....”

“No need for that.” Charles replied after taking the lead out of all, “We will go to her room and talk. Please make sure there is no one to disturb.”

The butler nodded and everyone went up to the Amaira’s room. Going through the lobbies, Javier reminisced about all the years he had spent in this place which majorly appeared to be the saddest to him. But now? He could feel himself at home, as ease spreaded in his mind.

.....

It was Charles who did the knock first and got replied, “It’s open. Please come inside.”

On receiving the answer, all of them gave each other a simple stare. But Ellen decided to break the silence, “I think it would be better if Charles and Javier face her right now. It would be better for them to tell her about those complicated relationships in their families.”

“I strongly agree.” Sierra supported this and on getting two positive answers, Javier and Charles reluctantly entered Amaira ‘s room.

It was all the light that came in their eyes. The curtains were flying because of the wind and her hair was simply shining, her appearing to be some kind of princess. She was keeping her face in between her legs and as if the knob gained her attention.

“Brothers...?” Amaira appeared confused and delighted until, she shrunk more in her bed when her eyes caught Javier walking into her room with Charles. “Brother Javier...you.....”

She had no words to define. It would be considered the very first time he stepped in her room. He hated her to the core. Why? Because she was an illegitimate child and her mother broke their happy family. But today...something was amiss.

She removed her blankets and was ready to stand until Charles said, “Don’t stand. We have something important to discuss with you.”

She raised her head and accepted their words. She sat on the bed and Charles took a seat opposite her on the same bed. Meanwhile, Javier still kept his aloof expressions and was standing like a devil in her bed.

While it was getting difficult to ignore Javier’s grim expressions and fierce glares, she maintained calmness to blink her eyes and rotated her head to find Charles also looking at her in extreme pity.

“H-Has anything happened?” She couldn’t help but ask. Why couldn’t she never seem to detect something? “Both of you can tell me if it has . I-I will be fine...”

“Maybe not, Amaira.” This time, Charles opened his mouth and a sigh escaped, “You need to hear what we have to say.”

“I will be absolutely fine, brother. Why don’t you both tell me now.” She kept her keen eyes on their face, feeling her heart hammering against her chest.

Initially, she had made bubbles in her mind. ‘It must be related to mother, right?’ she had given them a bit of information, they must have utilized it to get back on her mother.

While she waited for them to disclose this to her, she saw Charles’s forehead creased. He took a deep breath to say, “Your mother...she is no more.”

At this point, Amaira gripped the blankets below her. Her nails dug in those mattresses but no expressions changed, “A-Anything else.....?”

“She has been killed by us.” Javier finally told her in his cold voice and Amaira could only nod while pursuing her lips into a single straight line,”I know it...”

Meanwhile, Charles noticed her facial expressions and his heart ached for her. She was trying to be brave, and act innocent. But inside, she was hurt. She was damn hurt by this. However, what will happen if the mother she is feeling hurt for wasn’t her mother at all?

“There is one more secret, Amaira.” Charles gained her attention as she lifted her round eyes. “S-Something....more?”

Charles didn’t know how to say this, as he had to come up with a proper sentence. However, this task was easily carried out by Javier as he replied without thinking much, “Shirley isn’t your biological mother. She didn’t give birth to you.”

“You are our sister, our biological sister. It was played by my father....”

Javier explained to her without missing a single beat. He wanted to let her know everything, at least she should understand their reason and how they are parents sometimes. He was blunt and this slightly alarmed Charles.

But on knowing Amaira, it would be better to know things in a hard way then in a pleasant way.

At last, when Javier completed, they all took a time to not say anything. Silence regained the room again and Amaira had her head down.

She held no courage to look at it right now. It took a lot of pressure to accept each word that Javier said. Shirley wasn’t her mother, she was a bit disappointed but it was fine. That lady still treated her as a chess piece to get into the family.

However, for her father, all she felt was hatred.

All she did was to loathe him for his doings. For his selfish reasons, she separated her from her mother? Why? He gave her to another lady....it gave her goosebumps.

Turmoil of emotions raced in her mind. But she was still composing herself. She couldn’t let herself cry. Why? Why can’t she cry to this point and be unhappy?

It did give her heart pain, her chest hurt. But those tears.... in the end, she realized, both the people weren’t worthy.

After a long silence, it was Amaira who raised her head with those red eyes. But there were no tears. She stared at Charles with complicated emotions and asked,

“Can you do a favor to me?”

“Just tell us...”

“Kill Shawn Johnsons for me. He deserves it.”
