The Kidnapped Bride

Chapter 84 - Warming His Bed

Chapter 84 - Warming His Bed

Everything was kind of shocking for her to know. The Johnson family was no less complicated than the Smiths.

Moreover, how can she define that the ruby, which was supposed to be of Javier's family, is actually now with no one else but with her fiance? When both, her kidnapper and her fiance are deadly enemies.

Jennifer gulped the amount of saliva when she realized her tough spot. For now, she is hidden but when she is supposed to go back, what else is she supposed to go by then?

Staying by Javier's side or just… escape the cage? 'But.. what will I even gain by living here? Am I ready to be the third person in his relationship with Emily?' From the bottom of her heart, she hates the homewreckers. How can she end up and go for it?

"Miss, shall we leave now? We have more places to visit as well." The one and only Ryan came near her and Ellen and asked her politely.

"Sure. Let us go to the next spot." Her eyes took the last glance of the picture that was there in the frame of the ruby and averted her gaze once again.

'Why do I feel… there is some connection?' Biting her lips, she knew it was all useless to say and think because that will soon be coming back to the Johnson family.

Moreover, even if she wed Lucas, there was no chance his mother will let her peak at it.

Making their way to the car, they sat inside and Ellen drove the car to the nearby central park. It was a large place for many of the children and couples to come and have a walk.

When she stepped there, her eyes found people of all age groups. There Were people in their eighties, with people in their teens and twenties. "It is exceptionally crowded, I see…"

"People of our states love greenery and having their time in nature. The best way is to have a walk or go for a picnic and sports. That's how it is so created for now." Jennifer agreed and they all came to one of the spots.

Under a tree, way a large bench. After going through a long walk back in the museum as well, she was somewhat tired. When Ryan noted her tiredness, he spoke, "I will bring something for you to eat and drink. Ellen, stay with her." With this, he left her and Ellen alone.

In the park, her once glance swept along the people, the family having a picnic. Prominently her gaze was fixed in a certain family which was saving and spending some sweet members.

Remising her time with her parents, a faint smile flickered on her face.

'Are they missing me? Or.. just..' she had no idea yet her heart craves to go and hug them, at least once.

Seeing her so closely down in the sorrows Ellen Asked worriedly, "Ms. are you all right?" Jennifer didn't realize the tears were forming in her eyes. Wiping them away, she passed Ellena's smile and said, "I'm totally all right. Just is… that..Amaira?"

She stumbled on her senses when she caught the figure who was standing not far away from them.

She was puzzled by her sudden appearance which seemed to not only shock her but Ellen, who stood behind her was annoyed. Moreover, it looked like her presence wasn't any joyful moment.

Jennifer noticed how cold and aloof her eyes looked at this point. 'Is she angry? But why can a small girl like her be angry with me?'

Amaira made her way to her with a straight face and asked with a rude tone.

"You bitch! I'm warning you. Don't climb my brother's bed unnecessarily otherwise.. I will roast you alive!"

….

Meanwhile, Amara and David were already covered with tensions. They left all the material on Lucas's shoulders for him to find things and Jennifer.

But somehow with the passage of time, they were losing their control and patience.

"Are you sure that we should go and visit Lucas?" David asked when he saw his wife getting ready in front of the dressing table.

"Do we have any other choice? We both are aware that Jennifer's disappearance is not like that. Her best friend has never contacted us too." Turning around, she looked at her husband with narrowed eyes, "What are we supposed to do if Jennifer gets caught by them?"

Hearing his wife's words, his eyes turned cold. "She is our daughter and doesn't have any memory of her childhood. If they try to, it is impossible now."

"Not impossible because there is something called DNA test in this world.'' Her words reminded him about the ugly past and the deep scare they have.

At last, David picked up the wristwatch and wore it without uttering anything. They both got ready and left to meet Lucas.

Half an hour passed since they both arrived in the coffee shop where Lucas asked them to wait. It was already getting late and both the husband and wife were not able to comprehend anything out of the situation right non.

"Do you think that Lucas will try to avoid us intentionally?" Amara asked with certainty in her eyes yet, she somehow consulted David.

"I.. think so. He is not coming in front of us and this is disturbing. As promised earlier, he isn't following this rule now." David knew that making Jennifer Married was solely for-profit and the company they were going to receive.

Moreover, when Lucas appeared with the offer to get their daughter's hand in marriage, it was hard to resist the tempting offer of the land and business that he was willing to come against their daughter who studied abroad.

At this time, Amara lost her patience in the end. She stood up from her seat and finally set her mind, "It is decided that we both.. should go now."

"But.. what will Lucas think of us?" He was worried about the man's anger but at the same time, Amara's eyes glinted with fire.

"He won't say anything. In the end, he doesn't want us to reveal her real dignity. Let us go and get Jennifer ourselves then."
