Chapter 362 - Taming Demon Beasts! - Part 2
Chapter 362 - Taming Demon Beasts! - Part 2
After taming the Giant wolf, Alex tamed seven more wolves in the same pack with strength in the order of Rank 2.
Rather than bonding with the whole pack, Alex only chose those with the strongest strength, and with them, he ultimately controlled the entire pack.
Alex gave the giant green wolf, which he named Rolf, instructions to head with his wolf pack towards the back of the Barbarian army and wait for him there.
After seeing them off, Alex ventured deeper into the forest, but he had a clear goal this time. It was a hidden cave some three miles due southeast. Alex had asked Rolf for the location of his rivals and Demon Beasts that were stronger than him.
He gave Alex the location of seven Demon Beasts that had strength on par with him. As for Demon Beast with strength at a higher order of Rank 3, there was only one with such strength in the area of fifteen miles. And much to Alex's annoyance, it was a bird, a crow to specific.
The Rank 3 crow didn't have any fixed resting place; it had many and would fly to far away distances in search of suitable prey from time to time.
Alex could only pray that his lucky enough to have a chance encounter with the Crow.
When Alex arrived at the location of his first target, he found him to be in the middle of having a snack.
The Demon Beast, which was a big, burly Demonic Bear with black and brown fur, also noticed him with his strong sense of smell the moment Alex arrived in the vicinity.

The demonic Bear shrunk backward in an obvious manner when it saw Alex. It looked at him with a pair of vicious eyes. Perhaps it could sense that the man in front of it was scary. Rolf would also react like that if he had not been sleeping at that time.
Alex didn't bother wasting time communicating with the Bear, even though he knew they had the intelligence of a six-seven-year-old human.
He moved and immediately came behind the back of the twelve-foot-tall Demon Beast's head.
The instincts of Demon Beasts were something to truly marvel at. Because if it was a Cultivator at the Peak stage of the Dantian Formation Realm, Alex could have easily beheaded them before they could even register him vanishing in front of their eyes at such close distance. But in the case of the Demonic Bear, Alex saw him instinctively moving his hands in an effort to protect his head.
But it was all too slow in front of Alex's eyes and hand. He gave a pat to the back of the Demonic Bear's head, which jolted and shocked the beast's brain, causing it to freeze in place for a moment, and that was all the time Alex needed. Spiritual power gushed out from Alex's hand and rushed into the body of the Demon Beast.
And as it was in the case of Rolf, Kerchak, and Godzilla, the Bear too got 'seduced' into making a bond with the unknown human.
"Good, from now on, you will follow me. What should I name then? How about Yogi, Yogi Bear." Alex said before sending off the Peak Stage Rank 2 Yogi Bear towards the back of the Barbarian Army.
"One down, six to go," Alex said before he changed his direction slightly and ran towards the location of the next nearby target.
Like this for two straight hours, Alex ran to six different locations in the forest and tamed six more demon beasts at the Peak stage of Rank 2.
The six Demon Beast consisted of a Three horned Iron Armoured Rhino, a Demonic Boar, a Shadow Panther, a vicious Demonic Lion, a Demonic Goat with big ass horns and the last one was a Demonic Bull.
Alex named them Rhino, Boar, Baga, Simba, Ringo, and Taurus.
The only loner in that group was Baga, the Shadow Panther, while the rest had at least two or three companions or had a group following behind them.
The ones with a considerable number of Demon Beasts following behind them were the Goat, Ringo, and the bull Taurus. The former one had the greatest number also the weakest strength.
Also, the Demon Beast was not the only gain; Alex also found quite a few spiritual plants and fruits that were beneficial to his cultivation. Maybe he could even gift them to his family or give them as rewards to his subordinates or his new Demon Beasts companion.
Anyway, Alex let them organize their groups and gave them the same instructions as he had given to Rolf and Yogi.
He parted with them and ran to find more capable companions. He still got time; the Barbarian Army hadn't attacked. Instead, they made a camp two miles from the humans fortified camp.
They would probably come in contact or attack the humans at dawn. If they do it beforehand, then Alex can arrive in an instant by switching places with his puppet.
'I still got three hours before dawn breaks; let's see what else I can find.' Alex thought as he went deeper into the forest.
While Alex was busy finding suitable Demon Beast as companions, elsewhere a few hours ago, a man could be seen kneeling in front of a mansion built upon a small hill covered in greenery from all sides.
The man that was kneeling was none other than the current King of the Armen Kingdom, Rudolf Armen.
"Father, please give me an audience; I'm in dire need of your help. Your country needs your presence now more than ever," Rudolf shouted while still keeping his kneeling stance on one knee.
When he didn't get any response, Rudolf, a man in his forties, once again fritted his teeth and gathered his courage to call out to his father, who was also the previous king of the Armen Kingdom before him.
Just as the Armen King was about to open his mouth once again, the whole area suddenly got shrouded in suffocating pressure. Rudolf had to use all the power of his Late-stage Elemental Gathering Realm cultivation to defend himself from getting crushed under the enormous pressure that was filling his body.
"Rudolf, you better have a good reason for disturbing me in the middle of my cultivation."
