The Porter is Secretly an SS-Level Hunter

Chapter 7: Treated the Worst (2)

Chapter 7: Treated the Worst (2)

Once he spoke those words, not only did a hole appear in Laia's chest and Elain's stomach, but one showed in the Eatan, holding Isona, throat.

It was silent except for the bodies hitting the ground as no one knew how to react, not even the monsters. "Ah, I have to get the accomplices, too, no?" Neban questioned before turning his hands towards Milo and Kory.

He used the same move, putting holes in their foreheads. Lora dropped Ari as she started to run when Neban's focus was on the other two. But, she did not get far as it felt like her body got stuck on something. She tried to move back, but she couldn't move at all.

Neban used [Shadow Web] when he heard Lora's thoughts about escaping; plus, he was not the type to let prey go.

"Please let me go; I swear I was not a part of this. The others forced me to do it." Lora started to beg, but Neban ignored her.

He started to walk towards the fallen Isona, picking her up as he threw her towards the porters. Her body landed on top of Wey as he tried to hold onto her with the help of Owain.

Neban was in front of the Eatans, looking at them, "Tell your king to stop hiding and come out."

The Eatans all looked at each other, not saying anything before three of them came at him simultaneously. Neban sighed as he held out his hand, summoning one of his swords. He couldn't use the primary weapon he hunted with, or the others will know who he is.

Three clubs came down at him as he blocked all of them, effectively cutting the weapons in half. Then he used [Shadow Travel] to disappear and reappear behind the Eatans. The monsters did not have enough time to react as Neban swiped his weapon across all three of their waist.

His weapon glowed with a dark aura as a thin line appeared on the three creatures' waist. They couldn't make a sound as the top part of their bodies slid off, falling to the ground. The bottom half followed right after.

Five more Eatans joined the fight as they did not want to give Neban time to rest, but he dodged all their hits, moving like the wind that no one can catch. He called [Shadow Web], capturing the monsters. The creatures made growling noises as they tried to pull themselves from the invisible web.

He was getting ready to burn them, but ten Eatans came at him; they seemed to multiply each time. He dodged them, causing the monsters to hit each other. Neban would have laughed at the sight, but more of the creatures tried to surround him.

"This is becoming boring," Neban sighed, "I wonder if I kill all your weaklings, will you come out, mister king?"

Neban spun his weapon, causing the dark aura to grow as he turned, slicing through all the creatures trying to keep him surrounded. The Eatans touched their bodies, seeing that there were no marks on it. They looked at Neban, laughing at him and themselves.

The monsters felt dumb for thinking the puny human could do anything to them, but once that thought passed their mind, they felt like their whole body was on fire while their insides were turning into mush.

Neban watched with a blank expression as the monsters started to fall to the ground, screaming. They were scratching at their skin, pulling their flesh off in the process as they tried to get rid of the burning sensation.

He turned away, facing the remaining Eatans that were shaking with frightened expressions. Neban took one step forward, causing the monsters to drop their weapons while trying to run away. But Neban caught them with his web.

The monsters started to struggle, trying to free themselves as they saw and heard Neban moving closer. But Neban stopped when he felt a dangerous presence running towards his way. A smirk filled his usually blank face as excitement soared through him. 'The king is coming.'

A vast Eatan ran through the web, crushing the bodies of the other Eatans that were on it. Neban could hear the thoughts of the creatures as they all started to praise the king that appeared.

The king was a General Eatan. They were more robust than a soldier but surprisingly faster than them. The monsters were more intelligent, and they had red stripes coming down their eyes to their neck as they had four arms; they used four clubs to fight. And another thing that made them different from the others is that they had poisonous gas that they could emit.

Neban can see the grey poisonous gas surrounding the general.

"You puny human dare to use a petty trick to make me appear. You have a death wish!" The king shouted, but Neban looked away from him as he glanced at the porters.

"Cover your nose and mouth, or you will die." He told them.

The king growled, not liking how a human dared to ignore him. He rushed forward, swinging his four clubs at Neban. But the king only hit empty air as Neban disappeared.

"I find it funny how a general plays like a king. These old dungeons are interesting." Neban commented from behind the king, spinning his sword as the dark aura only seemed to grow; it collected essence from the creatures' dead bodies.

The king turned around, growling at him. Neban moved first, aiming for his chest, but the king blocked the attack with his upper clubs. The king swung the bottom weapons aiming for Neban's leg.

But he was faster as he stuck his foot out, kicking the king in his knee. The sound of bone cracking resonated through the area, and the king fell to his fine knee. "Oops, I didn't mean to use that much strength." Neban apologized.

The king opened its mouth, quickly blowing poisonous gas in Neban's face. As the grey cloud covered it, the king looked satisfied at getting the arrogant human. After he eats this one, the king will get the other humans that were still here.

But once the cloud disappeared, the king's face turned to one of disbelief as the human was perfectly fine. Neban popped his neck before sneezing, "You know, poisonous gas is annoying."

He gripped the king's neck during his distraction, but the king reacted fast, hitting his clubs, in his upper hands, on the sides of Neban, trying to squash him. But once the clubs hit his body, they broke. The king did not know how to react as he stared in horror; fear was starting to fill his body.

Neban heard the king starting to think, 'This person is not human!'

Ah, how rude, Neban is 100% human.

He looked at the king with a bored expression as he sighed, "And here I thought you would be exciting."

The king could not even beg for his life as Neban broke his neck, throwing the monster down. He caused his sword to disappear as he wiped himself off. Hopefully, his clothes weren't too dirty and did not have blood on them; he did not want to freak his son out.

He walked towards the others, causing Owain to flinch while Wey looked at him with an unafraid expression, minus his trembling body. "Do you want the ameis?" Neban asked them.

Owain looked at Neban like he was crazy. Neban just murdered some hunters and the Eatans with ease, and now he is acting like nothing happened by casually asking if they wanted the ameis? Owain believed that Neban was mad at this point. But he still nodded.

Wey also nodded, still holding onto his broken nose and the unconscious body of Isona. Neban picked up the bag they used for holding the marbles and was getting ready to collect them when the sound of someone begging hit his ears.

"Please free me. I promise I won't tell anyone. Please!" Lora begged. Neban forgot that she was on the web and still alive. He flicked his hand, activating [Shadow Fire] as the woman started to burn. Neban ignored her screams as he began to pick up the ameis scattered all over the ground.

He knew that most people would find what he did to be cruel, but the hunters were going to kill them either way. He heard their thoughts; they would not have been the first victims to the hunters if they managed to kill them.

So, he took them out before they could take them out. Was that a cruel thing to do?

He quickly grabbed as many ameis as he could before zipping the bag up and making his way back to the group. He looked at Owain, then Wey, and back again. "His nose?"

Owain was confused at first until it hit him that he didn't heal Wey yet. He had been so scared at what was happening, he forgot. He looked towards Wey, asking for permission with his eyes. The man nodded.

Opening the first aid, he pulled out another healing potion and the elastic bandage. Wey moved his hands, making sure he kept his face looking up as Owain poured the medicine on his nose. Wey did not flinch nor make a noise at all.

Neban admired the strong-will that Wey had.

After Owain finished pouring it, he wrapped the man's nose, tearing the excess and tying the end. He moved back once everything was okay. Wey was able to straighten his face as dried blood was still on it.

"We can go?" Neban asked. They nodded as Wey carried Isona while Owain took Ari. Neban picked up all the bags, not having a problem with holding them.

They started to walk to the entrance. Neban canceled the web and pushed the burnt body of Lora away. Owain looked everywhere but there as he wanted to forget all the events that happened here.

They walked in silence, and once they reached the entrance, Owain swallowed before asking, "Uh, are we keeping Ari alive?"

"She was new. She did not know what they did." Neban answered, not looking at Owain once. The man nodded, feeling relieved that there won't be another murder he had to witness.

Once they stepped outside, Neban dropped the bags to the ground before turning towards the others with a stern expression. Owain flinched as he grew nervous at the look while Wey's face still held the same expression.

"You will not speak about what happened here. Last time I checked, I am an F-level. Understood?"

Owain quickly nodded as he started to tremble. Wey nodded before asking, "We exchanged numbers earlier before you came. Can we have yours?"

Neban stared for a while before reaching in his cloak pocket. Owain grew stiff, not knowing what he was getting ready to do. When he pulled his hand back, he had a small card in his hand.

Neban's number was on the card; his mother made them when he got a new phone because she thought it was cute. After almost two years, he could finally put them to use (he carries the small cards everywhere since his mom made them).

He handed it to Wey. Once the man took it, he walked away. It was most likely the middle of the night, and he was ready to get his son and go home.

Owain and Wey watched him leave before realizing that he left them with two unconscious bodies and all the bags. Owain groaned while Wey sighed that Neban left them with the mess.
