Chapter 7 – First Day of School (3)
While she was mulling over it, she saw Xi Yun walked over to the front of her store. Li Xiuyun waved at him with a look of contempt and said, “Shoo! Shoo! Go away! You are costing me business!”
There was no way the little brat Xi Yun could afford to buy anything from her store. She didn’t want the beggar-looking kid to stand in front of her storefront and deter real customers from going inside.
Surely, Xi Yun’s clothes were a little on the old side, but they were very clean. He always washed them himself. But he always had bruises on his face that just made him look unhygienic.
Xi Yun, with his lips shut tightly, did not argue with her but stood on his tipped toes and placed the money on top of the counter, “I want one of everything.”
Surprised, Li Xiuyun sat up. Where did this little brat get the money? Did he steal it from somewhere?

Xi Yun had always been very sensitive to the ways that people look at him; plus, Li Xiuyun wasn’t exactly trying to be subtle. He didn’t need to try to know what was on her mind.
“My dad sent me. Hurry up.”
Thinking about the usual behavior of Xi Zhiqiang, Li Xiuyun pursed her lips and stopped wondering about it any further. Even though Li Xiuyun grumbled about how Xi Yun’s order was annoying being such a small and diverse order, her hands did not slow down. After all, the smallest leg of a fly was still meat, right? There were quite a selection of different products at her store currently and they would add up; especially the newly launched dirty pastry, they cost a few dollars each.
Su Tian waited for a little bit downstairs before she saw Xi Yun returning with a bag in his hand from afar. She walked over to him and was about to give him some of the pastries before he shoved the change back into her hand and ran off as fast as he could.
Su Tian, “.....”
Eh, could it be possible that his money-loving personality has not yet emerged at this point?
Looking at the brat dashed into the building hole like a rabbit, she knew she would not be able to catch up to him, so she just shrugged and gave up. Putting the change away, she went to look for Ms. He with her loot.
The mother and daughter took a bite out of every pastry from Lui’s Walnut Cookies and nonchalantly tossed the rest of them into the trash bin.
— With the exception of the walnut cookies and a few other traditional desserts, the rest didn’t even measure up to the failed projects of Ms. He.
It’d seem that they would not need to worry about losing the fight due to the quality of their products.

Time always flew by when one was keeping busy. Before they realized it, it was the start of the school year for Luo Cheng High School.
Su Tian got up very early on the first day of school and put on the outfit that Ms. He had ironed out for her the night before. After she was done washing up, there were already a few dishes of food prepared on the table.
There were vegetable rolls, boiled shrimp, a bowl of spareribs soup, along with a bottle of yogurt.
Ms. He came out of the kitchen with the last of it all – eggs, sunny side up, and saw Su Tian staring at the table like a fool. She poked her on her forehead and said, “Why are you still standing there? Sit down and start eating!”
Out of curiosity, Su Tian used the system to look into He Qingwan’s future; the future had she not transmigrated.
The Su Tian of this world fell into a coma after a car accident three years ago. Under extreme distress, He Qingwan divorced her scum father and spent the rest of her life taking care of Su Tian.
He Qingwan was pretty and the feminine type that made men want to protect her. She had always had a string of suitors and even some quality ones, yet she never accepted any one of them.
She remained single for the rest of her life.
Having seen that, Su Tian felt sad for a long time. Then she turned the blame to her maternal grandparents.
Su Tian had always felt that Ms. He’s personality was her grandparents’ fault
