The Tale Of Kitsuna

Chapter 21

Chapter 21: New ‘Pet’

I looked back at Kitsuna in her fox form, letting the Commander’s body drop to the ground. She was mostly red with some black markings here and there. She had 9 tails that were the same red and black, but her tails’ were white at the ends. Her eyes were back to normal, red irises, with the rest being black.

“To think she will unlock 2 major powers in one night. Haaah, troublesome.” Sigh to my self I called out. “Rebecca!?” A second later, Rebecca appeared next to me, looking at Kitsuna.

“Well, how are we going to deal with her?” Rebecca said with worry.

“Nothing. Get everyone away from the mansion. Also, take the guy with you.” I said, pointing at the Commander.

“Wait, are you mad!? She will destroy everything.”

“Yes, and we were let her do that. I can’t do shit. Going through her memories took a toll on me for some reason. I, at the moment, wouldn’t be able to knock her out easily.”

“You are planning to keep her alive?” Rebecca said, confused.

“Of course, she is my daughter,” I said, frowning at Rebecca.

.....

“That’s not the only reason, is it?” Just nodding at her. She sighed, taking the Commander, and disappeared again.

‘Of course, it isn’t the only reason. Kitsuna is just like me.’ Looking at all the destruction with a smile. Seeing all the federation soldiers getting squashed or sent flying made me happy. My only worry was that Kitsuna lost complete control of her body. Taking my eyes of Kitsuna, I looked in the direction of the mansion. Seeing only Rebecca and Lily helping people out of the mansion, I got a bad feeling. Looking around, my feeling got worse.

“Where is the rest of our Black ops guards? They should be here?” Thinking about it, I left the yard and headed toward the armory. Turning the corner close to the armory, I heard people shouting.

“No...UGH!!??” Hearing some getting killed, I started running. Turning a mother corner, I saw 3 Black Ops bodies on the ground.

“Who Killed these guys?” Examing the corpses, I saw 2 of them with a wound that I have never seen before. The last one worried me. He had a knife in his back, meaning he was attacked from behind, and the only way for that to happen so close to the armory is if someone betrayed him. Looking up, I started running again.

“Move faster!? They are going to notice that we disappeared any minute now.” Running past more corpses with the same wounds I haven’t seen before. I stopped in front of the entrance to the armory, looking at the man who just talked.

“Dave, what the hell do you think you are doing,” I said in a low emotionless voice while looking at the Captian of our guards.

“Milady, shouldn’t you be looking after the young miss outside,” Dave said, trying to hide his surprise.

“I asked first.” Looking behind him, I saw that there were 5 others with him.

“What does it look like, Milady? We are saving the weapons, of course.” He said, moving back closer to the rest of them with his hands behind his back.

“I see, so why are their bodies in the hallway.” Narrowing my eyes at him.

Refusing to answer me. He pulled his hand out from his back and pointed a small staff at me, and said.

“You will let us go, or I kill you. These weapons are newly made by the Federation and have great penetration power, Haha.” He smiled and laughed at me.

“Ooh, so it is because of you that we had so many Federation spies, and because of you, the attacked happened tonight.” Looking at the weird staff thing, I recalled something Amari told me years ago about their world’s weapons. “Let me guess a reincarnation made that.”

“Smart as always, Stacy. Yes, it was made by one. I think this one was named a musket, which is still an old version of the modern ones they have.”

‘I see, so that’s what it is. Guns, Amari told me about them.’ Feeling the mansion shaking. I knew Kitsuna had already killed everyone outside and was on her way to the mansion.

“BOOM!!??” Just like I thought. Kitsuna just destroyed half of the mansion with her tails.

“What the hell was that!?” Hearing all the men in the armory being distracted. I took my chance and closed the distains with them. Grabbing the gun in Daves’ hand first, I kicked him in the stomach, making him fly back and lose his grip on the gun. The rest of them also didn’t have any time to react and were knocked out.

Wrapping them up with rope I found in the armory. I started dragging them out. Arriving outside the main doors, I saw Kitsuna sitting there in her fox form, looking at me. Tilting my head, I asked.

“You good?” Not getting an answer. I dropped the rope in my hand and walked closer to her. She followed me with her eyes. Stopping a few meters away in front of her, I asked again. “Are you done?” This time I got a nod, and her body falling to the ground. I was about to walk closer to her until I heard loud snoring.

“It seems she overworked herself.” I giggled at her snoring.

“Well, at least she didn’t destroy the entire mansion.” I heard Rebecca from my side.

“But sadly, the self-repair spell on the mansion broke,” I said, looking at Rebecca walking up to me.

“True.”

“PFFT!!??” Hearing something deflating, I looked back at Kitsuna and saw a lot of black smoke coming out of her and her body shrinking.

“As I thought,” I said with sadness.

“What is happening?” Rebecca asked.

“She is losing her 9 tails.”

“What!? Why!? Is it because she is a sin holder?”

“Yes, don’t worry, it is a good thing, though. If she starts working on her sin while she doesn’t have all 9 tails, it will be easier to control herself.”

“Ooh, I see. So, she can get her 9 tails back?”

“Yes, she can, but it depends on her how fast though.” Seeing the smoke clear, I saw Kitsuna still in her fox form, but this time way smaller and cuter. She still looked the same the only defrence was her size. She was under a meter tall and just above a meter in length. Her tail was almost the same lenth as her body.

“CUUTE!!??” Hearing someone screaming. I looked in the direction to see my other daughter Amari running towards Kitsuna on the floor. Behind her, I saw Dean walking towards us as well.

“OI!? Dean, what is she doing here!?” I was worried that Amari would be affected by all the carnage that happened.

“Don’t worry, Milady, we already cleaned up. She isn’t going to see anything.” Hearing Rebecca, my worries disappeared.

“Haah, that’s good.” I sigh

Amari ran up to me with her arms rapped aroundthe sleeping Kitsuna in her arms. Luckily Amari was almost the same hight as me so she could easily carry Kitsuna. She gave me puppy eyes while asked. “Mom! Mom! Can we keep it?”

“Young miss, that is your-Ugh!” Hitting Rebecca in the ribs to shut her up, I said.

“Yes, of course. Just don’t shake her too much. She is busy evolving, okay.” Ignoring the glare from Rebecca next to me. I gave Amari a big smile and rubbed her head.

“Thank you, mother! By the way, what happened to the mansion?” Amari thanked me and asked worried.

“Haha, that my daughter you don’t have to worry about.” I waved her off. Looking at Dean that just arrived next to us, I asked. “How did you guys get here so fast?”

“Ooh, we took one of our new airplanes,” Dean said.

“Airplane?” I looked at him, confused.

“Ooh, you won’t know. It’s one of our new weapons that was designed by one of the reincarnations.”

“Ooh, that reminds me here.” Taking the gun out, I gave it to Dean. “Rebecca, I also left some people back there tied up. Can you please take them into custody?” I said, pointing at the 6 people at the door. Getting a nod, Rebecca walked off towards them.

“A musket? Where did you get it?” Dean asked with a raised eyebrow.

“Amari dear, can you go back to the airplane. Daddy and I need to talk,” I said to my daughter.

“Okay!” Before she could walk off, I remembered something.

“Wait, let me just touch the cute fox head first.”

“Why?” She said, confused but listened and walked closer to me.

“I made a deal with her. I am just fulfilling it.” Activating my memories skill, I implanted a dream of my life in her head. “Thank you. See you at the airplane later, sweety.” I rubbed her head before she turned around and walked away.

“Why did you give memories of your life to the fox?” Dean said, looking at me, confused.

“Let me tell you a story.” Smiling at him. Explaining the entire night to him, I saw that he was starting to sweat a lot.

“You mean that the fox that our daughter thinks is her new pet is actually Kitsuna. The Kitsuna, who is actually a primordial with one of the 7 deadly sins, and her sin is wrath, the second strongest sin.” The more he talked, the more he sounded depressed.

“Yes, pretty much.” Nodding at him.

“Are you mad! Do you know how angry she is going to be when she wakes up! She will go bat shit crazy on us!” He shouted.

“Let it be her punishment and trust me. Her reaction will be worth it.” I waved him off while walking away.
