The Tycoon's Odyssey

Chapter 332 332The Closing In Trouble[II]

While Rajesh Patel watched the naval warfare unfold on the massive monitor before him, his face was calm and his hands were clasped tightly behind his back, but his mind was a storm of calculations and strategies.

The room was dim, illuminated only by the flickering screens displaying the battle.

Unbeknownst to him, Aurora had meticulously ensured that all external communications to them were cut. Cameras and receivers were monitored and their feeds were manipulated, isolating the PM and his staff completely from the outside world. Yet, the sounds of the battle ensuing above them couldn't be suppressed.

The tense silence shattered as soldiers burst through the office doors, their heavy boots echoing against the polished floor. The sudden intrusion startled everyone present in the room, breaking their focus.

"Sir, we have a serious problem," one soldier declared, his voice laced with urgency.

Rajesh turned slowly, his expression unreadable, masking the slight unease that churned within him. "What is it?" he asked with a commanding tone.

"The defense perimeter has been breached," the soldier said. "A group of highly skilled individuals has infiltrated the premises."

Rajesh's brows furrowed deeply. "Who are they? Which nation do they represent?"

The soldier hesitated, his discomfort evident. "We don't know, sir. They're… unidentifiable and haven't mentioned it either…"

A flicker of doubt crossed Rajesh's face as his thoughts raced. Who would dare such a brazen assault? Which country would risk a move like this? And more importantly, how had they managed to bypass the tightly secured zone that was guarded by layers of police and elite forces?

The PM's gaze sharpened. "This is impossible. Unless..." His words trailed off as a grim realization settled over him.

"There are traitors among us."

For the first time, his steely exterior cracked, revealing a flicker of frustration. However, he quickly composed himself and issued a sharp command. "Evacuate the area. Use the secret passage."

He moved swiftly to a section of the room that appeared unremarkable—a panel of ornate wood that seemed to be seamlessly blending into the wall. With practiced ease, Rajesh pressed a concealed button beneath his desk. The panel slid away with a soft hiss, revealing a dimly lit staircase that was descending into the shadows.

"This passage will lead us to the old train station outside the city," Rajesh said, his voice steady but urgent. "Move quickly and quietly. Call for reinforcements."

The team descended the narrow stairway, the air growing colder and damper with each step. The flickering lights above cast long, shifting shadows, amplifying the oppressive atmosphere. Rajesh led the group, flanked by his guards, their weapons drawn and ready for any threat.

As they reached a junction deep within the passage, the air grew heavy with tension. Suddenly, a sharp metallic click echoed through the space. Rajesh turned just in time to see a man standing to the right of the Air Chief raising a gun.

"Down!" Rajesh shouted, but the shot had already been fired.

One of the guards fell with a cry, clutching his side, but the others reacted instantly. The gunman was tackled to the ground, his weapon skidding across the stone floor. Chaos erupted as the guards subdued the attacker, pinning him down.

The Air Chief, pale and trembling, stared at the man. "Jitendra? How could you...?"

The gunman, his face bloodied but defiant, let out a chilling laugh that echoed through the passage. "It's over," he rasped, his voice carrying an eerie certainty. "They'll know soon enough.

Before anyone could respond, the ground beneath them trembled violently. Dust fell from the low ceiling as a deafening roar grew louder. The sound of heavy footsteps approached, and moments later, a group of soldiers stormed into the passage, led by a towering figure.

With his massive frame dominating the narrow space, Mac stepped forward. His sharp eyes locked onto Rajesh as he raised a hand in a formal salute. "Prime Minister Patel," he said, his voice deep and authoritative.

Rajesh's face darkened with fury. "You dare to come here and salute me? Do you think this will end well for you?" His voice rose to a shout, the echo amplifying his rage. "You've walked into a trap of your own making!"

At his words, a dozen SPG guards dressed in impeccable business suits stepped forward, their presence imposing. Rajesh sneered, a glimmer of triumph glinting in his eyes.

Mac, however, seemed unfazed. He chuckled, his laughter reverberating through the passage. "Do you think you're the only one with superhumans at your disposal?"

Before Rajesh could respond, another figure stepped out from the shadows behind Mac. His presence was otherworldly, his form exuding an aura of otherworldly power. The Prime Minister's guards froze in place as the realization dawned upon them: this was no ordinary soldier.

Mac grinned. "Allow me to introduce our superhuman side."

Following this, dozens of men with fierce expressions appeared.

Rajesh's frown deepened as he barked, "Go and get these bastards."

While he said this, he glanced over his shoulder, plotting to escape.

Following his command, the SPG surged forward.

The passage trembled under the weight of the clash.

The SPG commandos surrounding Rajesh, their business suits barely disguising their imposing physiques, moved like predators, each radiating an unnatural energy and their auras crackling with power.

Rajesh's sneer deepened as they stepped forward, their movements fluid and deliberate.

Across them, Mac stood unmoving, his massive frame casting a long shadow. He cracked his knuckles, the sound echoing ominously. The soldiers behind him tensed, but Mac didn't glance back. His sharp eyes scanned the opposition, and then, with a feral grin, he charged ahead.

The fight erupted like a storm.

An SPG commando, quicker and more agile than the others, lunged at Mac first. His fists came in a rapid series of blurs as he unleashed a flurry of punches aimed at Mac's chest. But Mac didn't flinch. He absorbed the hits like a stone wall, then grabbed the commando's arm mid-swing. With a brutal twist, there sounded a sickening crack, and the commando was hurled into the stone wall, the impact leaving a deep crater as he crumpled to the ground unconscious.

Two others attacked in unison—one wielding a serrated blade that gleamed under the dim light, the other brandishing a tactical baton that cracked with electricity. The blade slashed through the air, aiming for Mac's throat, but he ducked low with surprising agility for his size before ramming his shoulder into the first attacker's chest. The man was sent flying back with enough force to crumble the passage's thick stone supports upon impact. Enjoy exclusive content from empire
