Chapter 82 Great Offer
Chris went to the counter to order more snacks for the movie, however the line was a bit long, costing him longer time than expected.
And by the time he was back, the hall's gate were opened and half of the crowd had already entered the hall.
But what intrigued Chris was the reason the other half of the crowd hadn't entered the hall yet.
On the gate of the hall, a group of beautiful girls stood, arguing with the ticket checker. They were dressed in elegant clothes, one of them wearing a long bare back gown that looked gorgeous on her. Alas, if only her words were as charming…
"Let us in! I am the girlfriend of Enox!" the bare backed girl shouted as her group had blocked the entrance to the hall.
"As I already said mam, we have a set of rules to follow. This movie is very popular right now and hence all the good seats as well as sky boxes are already booked." the TC answered back politely.
"I don't care. You can talk to Enox." the barebacked girl scoffed arrogantly.
'Enox? That is the name of the heir of Opera Cinemas?' Chris, who was standing still, watching the ongoing drama thought in amusement.
"Miss… I…" TC tried to reason back to the girl, alas, she was as stubborn as a mule.
"What? You are not authorised to call him? I will do it for you." she scoffed and opened her navy blue coloured leathery handbag, pulling out her latest M-Phone model. All her movements were refined and elegant, dripping the pure essence of grace. If only her attitude was up to the par…

"That isn't the issue, miss. I can give you the front seats, no need to disturb boss…" the TC offered in a dilemma.
"Front seat? Who do you think we are, you puny worker! I want a sky box, you hear me!?" the barebacked unreasonable girl shouted, grabbing the TC's collar.
"M-Miss, please calm down." TC still kept up his professional and polite tone, not letting her actions rile him up, "As I said, the sky boxes and most seats are already booked. We cannot ask them to empty the seats after they had already paid for the tickets, miss."
The girl kept staring in TC's eyes for few more seconds, her venomous serpentine eyes drilling holes into the TC who tried his hardest to continue his tough guy facade.
After what seemed like an eternity to TC, the girl finally broke the deadlock and opened her mouth,
"Fine. I agree with your logic. Get me 5 recliner seats then. Or else, I, Kiara Faust, swear that I will directly call Enox and get you fired." the bare-backed girl who had announced her name as Kiara glared at TC and gave him the ultimatum.
Hearing that, a few beads of sweat trickled down TC's forehead as he looked at the serious look in Kiara's eyes. She was not messing around, she would really get him fired if he didn't listen to her.
Should he really listen to an arrogant girl like her and antagonize the innocent customers who came to this theater? Can he really betray the expectations of all these people and go back on his work ethics?
And the answer was clear as a day…
"Of course." TC wiped his sweat and nodded quickly, "All the recliner seats are booked-"
"I see, seems like you really don't want this job anymo-" Kiara glared at the TC, dialing a number on her phone with a victorious smirk on her face, however, TC quickly intercepted her words and spoke hurriedly.
"Wait, Miss! I said the recliners are all booked, but this hall contains over 15 recliners. I was checking tickets, and found out that only 8 of the customers have entered the hall yet!" TC explained hurriedly, "So 7 seat holders are still here…" he averted eyes away and murmured in shame. Shame that he couldn't even uphold his duties as the TC.
"Ohh? Interesting." Kiara smirked in victory, letting go of TC's collar as she turned towards the crowd, "So as you all heard this guy, I want 5 recliner seats now." she demanded arrogantly.
"What if I refuse, you arrogant brat!" Offended by her words, a middle aged man glared at her and shot back. He seemed to be of a middle-class family and was alone to the show as well, "My daughter bought this ticket for me, how can I give it to you?!"
"Oh my, did I rile up your emotions too much, old man?" Kiara scoffed, sending a torrents of laughs among her group.
There were many people there, looking at the ongoing situation with sympathy for the middle aged man. However, none of them came up to support him.
Why would they anyways? The background of that girl was surely not to be messed with. Plus, the middle aged guy was just a middle-class man. Why bother?
However, a couple of righteous teenagers weren't as thoughtful as the rest of the people…
"Why should we give our tickets to some arrogant girls like you?!" a young man nearly 16-17 years old, came forward and asked in a loud voice.
"Yes! We bought this ticket with our own money! Why would we give them away?!" a young girl of nearly the same age as the young man came beside him and shouted as well.
"Your money? You roaches surviving on pennies thrown by your parents, you have your own money now?" Kiara scoffed hatefully.
"What? Don't think everyone is a lazy ass like you who survives by mooching off your parents money. Yet having such audacity to brag, how laughable." the young man laughed back, his girlfriend nodding at his words.
"YOU BRAT-" Kiara curled her fists in anger and shouted in a way unfitting of any noble, gratefully, her friend were quick to assist her.
"Now now, Kia, no need to get worked up over some uncultured swines." Kiara's friend quickly patted Kiara on the back and spoke in a loud voice, ignoring the offended looks of everyone. After all, she wasn't even trying to hide her distaste.
"Listen, you kids and old man. We are not asking your tickets for free. We will give you double the amount you used to buy the tickets." another friend of Kiara came forward and spoke in a little more gentle voice, still, the tinge of arrogance seemed to run in their group.
Hearing the offer, the teenage couple showed a bewildered and conflicted expression. They were correct when they said they earned money on their own, they both were social media influencers commonly known as Jack and Tilly.
However, they were just beginners with only few loyal fans watching their videos and supporting them. On their first paycheck, they both decided to go on a wonderful date and shoot a vlog for whole date!
"Twice the amount back?" the middle-aged man was first to speak, stroking his moustache in thought. Kiara and her friends were unbearably arrogant and rude, yet, they were indeed very rich.
A recliner's price in a premium theatre was no little for a middle-class household like his! He would rather take double the money, and buy a subscription of Natflix to enjoy unlimited movies!
"Yes. Double. A poor old man like you must be elated by this offer." Kiara scoffed with a flick of her hair.
"Be in your limits, kid. Tell your parents to teach you some manners." the middle-aged man took out his seat ticket and threw it at Kiara, glaring into her ash-grey eyes.
"Oh they did. They sure taught me manners. And you want to know one more thing they taught me? Show the bugs their place." Kiara shot back hatefully and threw a bundle of cash on the middle-aged man's face.
'Wait, she wanted 5 seats. It means she will target us too.' Chris looked at the ongoing drama with a solemn look.
By now the faces of everyone were changing, many were glaring at the arrogant words of Kiara, alas, there was nothing they could do. Her background was unluckily, the strongest among here.
The young couple also had to admit, despite Kiara's oppression and crushing their ego, getting twice the amount back for tickets was no way a bad deal.
And in their cae, they will get free money for two more tickets! They could even upgrade their cameras and boost their channel by a lot!
It was a great offer. Hell, it was the best offer that could have been offered. If only Kiara had an attitude as good as the offer…
Chris himself was getting thought of selling the tickets back, after all, who would deny free money?
But, he wasn't desperate enough to grovel and get his self respect crushed in front of that arrogant bitch.
