As soon as Victor heard the description of the new curse sent by the gods, his consciousness started getting cloudy and soon he passed out from the shock.
Only when he woke up did Victor notice that he was really dead, as he saw a bright light in front as if a road leading across to the afterlife, which was supposed to erase all his memories and let him start anew with a clean slate.
Only that it was all for naught, at least for him, as it didn't seem to work on him at all.
Victor crouched on the ground and looked at the road of light with suspicion; he knew that as soon as he crossed it, at best, he would reincarnate again, and at worst he would be "blessed" yet again.
"Gods! Fuck you!" - Shouting, Victor didn't want to fall into the same trap again. So he decided he wasn't going anywhere.
"I'll just stay here!" With that thought, he lay down on the ground and decided to take a nap, his head started aching just at the thought of reincarnation or blessing.
Time passed and Victor gradually began to calm down with the idea that everything should be all right now.
"But what am I supposed to do next?" - he sighed in resignation. This thought flashed through his mind after quite a lot of time had passed and he was getting bored, all the while sleeping on the ground which was very uncomfortable.

His thought was immediately interrupted as an unforeseen event occurred, suddenly a bright light came over his body and he faded away in a flash of light.
[You went through a cycle of reincarnation. Your next incarnation is an Orc.]
"Wha... Wha...?" As if lightning struck Victor's head, he couldn't imagine that even if he didn't cross the bridge, reincarnation would happen on its own. Completely surrendered, he decided that it didn't matter what kind of reincarnation it would be, as long as life was just quiet.
Before his hope was completely blown away like leaves in the wind, he heard a robotic voice in his head that said he was reborn not as a human but as a dumb orc.
"Don't kill me! Please have mercy on me." - shouted the woman all the while sobbing.
The young woman's sudden yell interrupted Victor's thoughts, and only now he seemed to begin to return to the brutal reality.
Looking at his burly body and huge hands, which clearly did not belong to a Human, tears poured from Victor's eyes, this time reincarnation went even worse than before. And for the first time in her life, the woman saw an Orc cry, which rendered her speechless.
"Give me the sword!" - Victor shouted.
The woman, who was still trying to defend herself with her sword against the orc, was suddenly frightened by Victor's sudden rage and dropped her sword beside him out of fear.
"I'd rather die than stay like this!" Once again Victor pointed the cold blade over his head, in an attempt to blow his head off in one fell swoop.
CLAP!
A sharp swing of the sword completely separated the body from Victor's head.
"W… why did he… kill himself? - The woman stammered, her mind completely shaken, for even in her wildest dreams she could not imagine a weeping orc killing himself.
Her words were not heard by Victor as he heard the cursed voice in his head again.
[You're dead!]
[Skill Activated: Immortal]
Again Victor was back on the bright road, but before a few breaths had passed he was swallowed up again by the bright light.
[You went through a cycle of reincarnation. You got the body of a goblin.]
"You wretched goblin! I am a knight of the Kingdom of Endria, I've come to avenge the death of my bride!"
Before Victor could scream in deep despair, he was interrupted by a man's voice. When he turned his face, he saw a middle-aged man in shining armor, holding a huge sword with blood dripping from it.
"Please... kill... me!" - Victor pleaded, looking at the knight with a desperate smile.
Victor was waiting for the knight to behead him when he suddenly realized that something was wrong. From the outside, it might have looked like Victor was asking to kill him, but the knight didn't hear his human words all he heard:
KEKKEEKEE!
"You bastard!" - Shouted the knight, he heard the goblin's low laughter and looking at his happy smile, which seemed terrifying he felt a chill run down his back.
'Is this a trap?' - thought the knight. But he soon decided that this was impossible, for the goblin was the last one in the vast dark cave, all his fellow knights completely destroyed.
"What are you waiting for? Come and kill me!" - shouted Victor, getting to his knees, tilting his head like a criminal at an execution.
KEKKEEKEE!
The knight's rage took over his thoughts, watching the goblin laugh and provoke the knight by kneeling before him and lowering his head . It was the most humiliating provocation of his entire service as a knight, not even the rotten nobles dared to mock him like that.
"Why does he have that look on his face?" Victor thought, watching the knight's face turn completely red.
"What if he leaves without killing me?" As that thought flashed through Victor's mind, his body trembled and his eyes turned completely red with terror, for there were no weapons in the cave, only the knight had a sword in his hand.
Victor shuddered with horror and made a hasty decision, if the knight does not go to him, then Victor will go.
The knight unconsciously took a step back as the goblin raised his head, shook his body, and met his gaze.
"Why does he have such a terrifying look?" The knight gripped his sword tighter, looking at the goblin's eyes, which were completely red, in his opinion this gaze was not one of a small fry but a demon king.
KEKKEEKEEKEE!
Suddenly the goblin let out a beastly growl and headed for the knight.
"He's attacking!" The knight trembled taking a fighting stance, he was preparing to use the strongest technique that could put even an orc down with a single blow.
"That's not enough!" Only now did the knight realize that he may have underestimated the goblin, pulling the reinforcing potions from his armor; fortunately the goblin was moving slowly and the knight had time to take them all at once.
"It's like I'm not fighting an ordinary goblin, but a demon king!" The knight couldn't help but think, such excitement and fear only he could show.
KEKECE
"HAAA~!" - yelled the excited knight while preparing to strike his foe.
There was a resounding shouting as if the two enemies were facing each other in a mortal combat, as if only one could survive and the other had to fall. Their will and desire to win could outshine the heavens themselves.
And finally their momentous duel began.
He grabbed his sword and aimed it straight at the goblin's neck in an attempt to blow his head off with one blow, thanks to the reinforcing potions, he assumed that even though the goblin might not instantly die but at least would be critically wounded.
"Lucille, if I can't avenge you, we'll meet in heaven."
With that thought, he lowered the huge sword directly onto the goblin's neck.
BOOOOOOOM!
Victor's body exploded from a powerful blow, it was so strong that the entire cave completely shook and soon split in half.
[You're dead!]
Victor did not know that this battle would make huge waves among the masses. The knight would be honored to become the great hero who could slay the powerful Dark Goblin King.
