Villain: The Play of Destiny

Chapter 457

Chapter 457

"What is she doing here?" Fefei narrowed her eyes at her friend as soon as she spotted Wang Sisi and Qin Feng in an adjacent shop on the Blue Street.

"It must be Anhu, she read the chat I had with you when I was in the class." Baobao apologetically said and sighed.

Feifei knew that Anhu, who was Baobao's classmate, was Wang Sisi's lackey, and it proved her doubt that it was not a coincidence that Wang Sisi chose to come here at the same time that they had chosen.

"You are careless as ever," She pouted, and her aunt started giggling at her words.

"I don't think you are the right person to say those words, Feifei," Jin smirked at her but panicked when his cousin threw him a glare.

"Just ignore them." Keith smiled at her, and Feifei pouted some more.

"She's going to come and look for trouble."

"Let her." He shrugged, and she rolled her eyes at him.

"We need to get you some suits, and Jin needs a pair as well." Wei Jia said as she went through the list of things on the phone, and her son was quick to respond.

"I have plenty of suits, and I still have a few that I have not worn yet." He shook his head.

"They won't fit you anymore. When was the last time you wore a suit?" His mother smiled and reminded him, which made him feel a little embarrassed. "And you should always buy a new suit when someone in the family is getting married. It is considered inauspicious if you wear the same dress or suit at weddings, especially at the weddings of your relatives."

"Come on, Mother. I don't believe in such superstitions."

"Hey! You are not wearing an old suit at my wedding!" Feifei clearly told him, and Wei Jia grinned at her son.

"There you go. Whether you believe in such things or not, we will be getting you some new suits."

Jin relented and sighed, nodding his head obediently, and both his mother and cousin smirked at him.

"I will be fine though. I already have my wedding suit." Keith said, and all of them turned to look at him. "Don't worry, it is a new one." He chuckled.

"Traditions are traditions, Master Demiliore. As the Bride's family, we must buy you some new clothes and suits." Wei Jia smiled at him, and Feifei nodded her head.

"You don't get to have a say in this. We will pick a few suits for you." She smiled. "We have one of the world's best tailors in Hangzhou, and he can prepare several suits in a couple of days."

"Yeah, and he charges ridiculous money for them as well." Jin reminded her, but Feifei just shrugged at his words.

"We don't lack money, Jin." Wei Jia sternly looked at her son when she heard his words.

"Why do you only give me 50,000 in monthly pocket money then?" He complained.

"Because you don't deserve to get more." His mother did not even hesitate to answer, and Keith, Feifei, and Baobao laughed at the hurt that Jin feigned.

"50,000 is a lot. Don't you know that the average monthly household income in the country is 100,000 Renminbi?" Baobao grinned at him.

"See, Baobao understands the value of money." Wei Jia appreciatively nodded her head.

"She gets a million every month!" Jin complained, and everyone laughed some more.

The mood that had turned sour quickly returned to normal, and they decided to get gifts for everyone before submitting their order for the suits.

Feifei was very impressed that Keith knew the sizes of all the girls in his family, and even knew which colors and styles they would like.

It showed how attentive he was to each one of them, and this immensely pleased Wei Jia and Baobao too. The latter threw an accusingly look at her boyfriend, who could only helplessly scratch the back of his head.

Keith was setting the standards way too high...

Once they were done getting clothes for his girls, they proceeded to get gifts for all the youngsters in the Wei Family.

Wei Jia had already made the list of these things, which helped them get everything in under an hour, saving them a lot of time.

Keith then purchased a few gifts for Wei Jia, Jin, and Baobao, which all of them appreciated a lot, and it was finally time to get some jewellery and some clothes for themselves.

Feifei happily dragged him to the most reputable Bridal Shop on the street.

"We don't have time to order one, but hopefully we will find something that fits me." She happily said, and he smiled at her words.

"Don't worry. I have your Wedding Dresses ready, you can pick between them on the day."

"What?" She stopped and surprisedly looked at him. "How?"

"Magic." He grinned at her.

"You can create clothes too?" She amazedly looked at him, and he chuckled at her expression.

"No. But the dresses I have are better than any you will find here, and the size isn't an issue as they will magically fit you."

"Have they been worn by someone before?" She seriously asked, and he flicked her nose.

"Do you think I will give you a used Wedding Dress?" He lightly asked, making Feifei feel a little guilty in her heart, and she immediately shook her head. "You will like them." He promised.

"Okay!" She brightly smiled and then called out to her friend. "Baobao, let's pick your dress."

"What?" The girl was surprised at her words. "I thought we were getting yours first."

"I already have mine. Now, we will pick a good dress for my Bridesmaid." She happily said, and Baobao could only smile at her. "Jin! Come! We are picking a dress for Baobao." She excitedly said, and the boy blushed at her words when his mother raised his brow at him.

"What about your dress, Fei?" Wei Jia frowned at the sudden change in plans.

"Keith got me my wedding dresses. I don't need to buy more."

"Oh."

As much as Wei Jia wanted to ask if she could see them later, she kept the question in her heart.

She was sure that someone like Keith would not pick something ordinary for his bride, and asking to check the dresses would come out as a little rude, especially when Feifei seemed very happy with them.

"Welcome to Yue Lao!" A few attendants immediately came forward to greet them, and after Feifei asked for the tour around the shop, they respectfully guided them and showed them all the sections.

As expected of the most luxurious Bridal Shop in the city, there was everything a girl could need for a wedding, including the jewellery to go with their dresses. There were even sections of men in the store, but neither Keith nor Jin were interested in the traditional wear.

Both Wei Jia and Baobao needed to get outfits for themselves today, and this was where they took their time.

"Feifei!" A cheerful voice sounded out when the ladies were busy selecting the dresses, and Feifei's brows immediately furrowed as she recognised it.

Nonetheless, she turned around and kept a light smile on her lips.

"Hello, Sisi."

"Are you here to shop for the wedding?" The girl excitedly asked as she unceremoniously proceeded to hug her classmate. "Can't believe that the three of us are having our weddings in the same week!"

"Yeah..."

Sisi then proceeded to greet Baobao and Wei Jia, both of whom politely greeted her back, and Keith smiled when his bride helplessly looked his way.

"What a coincidence, Mr. Qin." He met the eyes of the Child of Destiny who had just arrived in the section, and the Inheritor of Hades managed to keep the smile on his face.

"Master Demiliore." Qin Feng politely greeted him with the slightest of the bows. "My wife dragged me here for shopping today." He informed them. "Hello." And he greeted Jin, who was curiously looking at him.

"Song Jin." The boy drew his hand forward and Qin Feng shook it.

"Qin Feng."

Though sceptical about the surname Qin, Jin did not bother asking the questions. He silently stood by Keith's side as he listened to their conversation.

"I am a little curious, Mr Qin. What differences do you have with your family?"

"I have no differences with my family." He straightforwardly replied, and Keith smiled at his response.

"And yet you asked them to hand over everything that they had on them, which even included my Wedding Present." He lightly said, and though Qin Feng did not show it on his face, he was inwardly surprised at those words.

"I am sure there's a misunderstanding. I was not told anything about your Wedding Present." He honestly answered, and Keith had a hunch that Roulan had deliberately kept this information from him to make him pay for his likely rude behaviour towards her.

And Qin Feng now understood it as well that he had been played by the Qin Princess.

"What..."

"Keep it." Keith cut him off. "You took it, and I don't need it anymore. Besides, the Qin have promised me a much better Gift than the one you robbed." He chuckled. "Please, be at ease. I am just messing with you."

Even though he told the Child of Destiny that he was just messing with him, Qin Feng started having a sinking feeling in his heart.
