Chapter 69 - Rui Fei The Hero That Can Touch The Beauty

Carrying the heavy load of the entire crew, Big Hei toughened up ready to receive a good beating. In small steps with his head hung low, he approached Ji Yao from behind. The rest of the crew watched him with gnashing teeth as they had already anticipated the end result. On the other hand, the Rui siblings were looking on curious to see how this whole debacle was going to end.

Rui Fei knew Ji Yao's problem and his rules but for the short time they had been together, there had been a whole lot of touching than in the past sixteen years of his life.

This had him wondering how serious Ji Yao's problem was and why he tolerated him. They had even cuddled for the entire night for heaven's sake so how could Ji Yao be that averse to people's touch.

Just as this thought was crossing his mind, Big Hei who was at the threshold of what could be considered as Ji Yao's personal space was suddenly flung by a force so powerful that it knocked him off the ship and tossed him into the sea by a great distance. The crew rushed over to the railing of the ship watching Big Hei's body get flung off the ship like he had been fired out of a cannon.

Ji Wen heard the commotion and turned his head with scrunched brows to see what was happening. He saw Big Hei in the middle of the sea while waving his hand yelling, "No need to worry! I am, I am fine..... I think. Oh,..... I think I broke something! False alarm, I am absolutely fine."

Xunshi Zhe heaved a sigh of relief and turned to look at the Rui siblings with his back leaning against the railing. "See..... I told you so," crossing his arms in front of his chest. Case closed, right?

Rui Fei pursed his lips as he peered in Ji Yao's direction. This older brother looked like an unattainable beauty cold and indifferent to the world but when Ji Yao gazed at him for a split second he felt a twinge in his chest.

Those eyes were like slow-moving glaciers causing ripples in his emotions. The glance was fleeting but it was enough to stir up something in Rui Fei's heart.

Bam!

A loud sound of a heavy mass hitting the deck brought him back to the present. It was Big Hei who had returned from visiting the fish in the sea. In his hand, he held a record-breaking large salmon still flapping around to free itself. He slammed it on the ground and said, "Not doing that again..... I thought I was going to die." It was like playing with fire only to get serious burns.

"Ha!... But I didn't hallucinate. I saw what I saw. How about my Dage shows you something mindblowing," said Rui Li with her own motive in mind. She just wanted to eat her YaoFei CP's dog food.

Earlier on her eyes were closed so she couldn't enjoy the scenery. This is why she decided to bait Rui Fei and reap the benefits.

Rui Yewan tried to nudge her to stop her from talking. If Ji Yao overhear their conversation then it's game over for the three of them.

"What? I don't like being called a liar though I lie a lot more than I tell the truth," she whispered before turning to Rui Fei with shining eyes, "Go on dage."

Rui Fei was also curious to see if he would get thrown off the ship as well like Big Hei. In private they had touched so many times but how about in public? He wasn't certain how he would react if Ji Yao rejected him but he was still so curious.

He walked over in slow strides and Xunshi Zhe couldn't help but make fun of him. "Haha I guess he can only learn through experience," said Xunshi Zhe in a mocking tone.

"He looks too fragile. I bet young master Ji would snap him like a twig before he even reaches halfway," replied Big Hei excited to see someone else suffer the same misfortune as he did.

But unfortunately, he was bound to be disappointed because that didn't happen. In fact, the exact opposite happened shocking the entire crew.

Rui Fei had slowly approached Ji Yao and leaned against the railing of the quarter deck as he stood beside him.

Ji Wen, "..."

He ignored Rui Fei and carried on saying, "Make sure someone is keeping watch twenty-four seven just in case something happens. Do you under....," he said but didn't get to finish when he saw Rui Fei shuffling closer to Ji Yao.

As if Rui Fei would stop there. He reached out and touched Ji Yao's back. His action was stiff conveying his nervousness. The highlight of this play was how Ji Yao casually pushed his hand away and said, "Behave," in a chilling voice but Ji Wen still detected a hint of coquetry that scared him half to death.

Everyone, "....."

Rui Fei also noticed it thus got into a playful mood. He draped his arm around Ji Yao's shoulder and pulled him close like they were the best of buddies. With no hint of shyness, Rui Fei even sniffed his hair a little before he got ruthlessly pushed away.

"Go make yourself useful elsewhere," said Ji Yao with a slight irritation in his voice as he pushed Rui Fei away. His father was watching him like he was looking at a demon that had possessed his son. Rui Fei complied his heart jumping around in his chest from the stimulation.

He had just walked to Ji Yao with no rhyme or reason making things awkward but it paid off because he found the world's greatest secret. Ji Yao doesn't like being touched by everybody apart from himself. How special he must feel right now.

When Rui Fei returned he was like a hero returning from war, admired by plenty and loved by the masses. Who didn't know that in the history of working for Ji Wen, Ji Yao was like a famous painting in the Louvre? You can look but you most definitely can't touch.

But this great hero descended from nowhere and touched Ji Yao so many times with no real consequences. Was it his handsomeness? As expected good looking people always get the best of things.

"Told you. We um..... didn't hallucinate that," said Rui Yewan a little embarrassed for some unknown reason.

Rui Li even forgot to say I told you so as her inner fujoshi rejoiced gleefully. This was enough dog food to last her a week. Rui Fei just directly walked off the ship his thoughts unknown. What he didn't realise was that Ji Yao was following his figure with his eyes his thoughts also unknown.

Snap! Snap!

This was the sound of Ji Wen snapping his fingers in front of Ji Yao's face trying to bring him back to the now. Ji Yao's eyes regained focus as he asked, "What?"

"Don't what me.. Just now, what happened?" asked Ji Wen pointing at the direction Rui Fei disappeared to.
