Chapter 137:

Chapter 137: <Chapter 136>

Silje bit his lips hard and kissed him back. When she started to suckle his lips seductively, Kail’s eyes darkened in desire.

Silje ate at his lips furiously. She was so angry and she wanted to hurt him. The fire within her burned.

Rip.

She tore up her coat to take it off. She threw it down on the floor and started to take off the rest of her clothes one by one as Kail watched in disbelief.

When she only had her black bra left, Kail couldn’t take it anymore and finally lunged at her.

“...”

He pushed her down to the bed. The heat between them exploded and moaning urgently, Silje slapped Kail before kissing him again.

He also seemed to be overwhelmed as he pushed her silky hair back and groaned like a beast. He exposed her white neck and bit it.

“Ahhhh...”

Silje felt like she was being bitten by a vampire. She moaned as her body burned.

She kissed down his neck determinedly and when she reached his nipple, Silje bit it as she grabbed his hair hard. Kail groaned in both pain and pleasure, and as if to punish her, he did the same and bit her breast roughly.

“Ahhh!”

They were both panting and rubbing their bodies against each other urgently.

Kail’s hot tongue seared her nipple before putting her small round breast into his mouth. Silje’s head fell back as she moaned sexily. She couldn’t take it anymore, so biting her lips, Silje climbed on top of him and moved down on his rigid length.

She didn’t want to give him any control over her. She didn’t want him to think she surrendered to him. Silje bit her lips as she moved on him. The wet erotic sound filled the room.

She wanted him to surrender to her.

They caressed each other roughly and savagely. There was no need for words. Their bodies were wet and slick with sweat.

Their history began in Oslo, and now it continued in New York.

As the sun set outside the penthouse, they made love to each other in silence.

“...”

They laid on the bed, panting and naked. Against the dark sheets, two bodies looked like they were pale and glowing. Silje turned her head towards him and glared resentfully.

Sharp cheeks, beautiful green eyes, straight nose, and a cold expression.

He looked gorgeous as usual.

Kail also turned toward her and stared in silence. Seeing herself in his eyes, Silje said to him bitterly, “Kail, you should’ve never come to me. If what you wanted was to ruin my life again, then you have succeeded. I hate to admit it, but it’s true. You have gotten yourself into my life and my mind.”

Kail remained silent, and Silje became desperate.

“Please... Please get out of my life! Go back to Oslo, Kail. You have succeeded in making me feel such pain. My life has been damaged. You have done what you came here for, so go away!”

“What if I don’t want to go?”

Kail continued to stare at her and asked again, “What will you do if I don’t go back to Oslo?”

***

She couldn’t breathe.

Silje couldn’t believe what he was saying to her. Her eyes widened in shock while Kail had his arms crossed and watched her with interest.

This had to stop. Silje couldn’t stand it anymore. She could no longer be patient.

She couldn’t fight against him any longer because he had wrenched himself in her heart. Silje thought her heart was frozen beyond repair, but somehow, Kail succeeded in making her feel again.

He was in her heart now and Silje was afraid she couldn’t push him out.

It was not possible.

She closed her eyes shut. Since she couldn’t run away from this situation anymore, all she could do was to end it now. When she made her decision, Silje looked at him in determination.

“What do you mean by that? You said you would go back after accomplishing your goal, right? That’s what you said.”

“No, Silje.”

Kail laughed at her and continued in a mocking tone, “And I think you forgot that I am the one who gets to decide if I go back or not. I am the one in control over us.”

His voice was terrifyingly cold. It seemed like he knew exactly what he meant to do.

One second, two seconds...

Silje bit her lips until they started to bleed and waited for Kail to continue. After a short silence, he opened his mouth again.

“I won’t be going back to Oslo. That is the last part of my revenge. I will stay in New York until you are ready to go back to Oslo with me. I will wait for you until you need me. I came to New York to do that. I never had any intention of giving you up.”

“What? Who do you think you are?!”

His words made her dizzy. She screamed, but Kail didn’t seem surprised. He obviously expected her reaction, so all he did was watch her.

His green eyes looked almost blue under the dim light. Instinctively, Silje knew that Kail was never going to leave her.

Only death would free her of him.

When she realized it, Silje started to cough. The obsessive love Kail forced on her was suffocating.

The only way for her to get away from him was...

The truth.

Looking at Kail who was staring at her like a statue, Silje decided that she had to do this.

Only the cold hard truth was going to set her free, even if it was too cruel to be said out loud.

Her voice trembling and her lips dry, Silje asked, “...Do you really want the truth? The real reason why I left you?”

“Yes. Tell me and I will listen. But know this. No matter what you say, I will not leave you.”

“Five years ago, that cold day... The day I will never be able to forget... The great Bruntland family, your family, did an unforgivable thing to me. Your stepmother kidnapped me. I was taken to a hospital in Oslo and your stepmother’s friend, a middle-aged gynecologist, put me to sleep and took our baby out of my body. They called it abortion, but what they did was murder. When I woke up, it was all over. They killed my baby. That’s all.”

Silje smiled bitterly while her eyes remained empty.

“That’s the truth.”

“NO!!”

The beast that was Kail roared.
