Chapter 316 - 316 Ch. 316 Anxia’s Sickness
316 Ch. 316 Anxia’s Sickness
Four people wearing the same yellow sweaters arrived at Kensington Park. Anxia and Lori laughed happily like two small children who couldn’t wait to play. On the contrary, Richard and Elliot looked at each other as if they were communicating through their eyes.
“Papa, do we have to wear this?” Elliot didn’t mind wearing the same clothes as his family, but… As far as he could remember, he had never worn a ridiculous outfit with a fawn like this.
Not cool at all!
“I know how you feel. But look at your mother and sister―they look happy. As a man, we have to be willing to make a little sacrifice to protect their smile.”
Elliot glanced at his overjoyed mother and sister. “Okay.” Elliot sighed resignedly, walked after his mother and sister, and tried to ignore the many stares staring at them.
Even if he was still seven this year, he was no longer a toddler... but why did they have to wear the same shirts that toddlers usually wear? Despite that, Elliot didn’t grumble and decided not to ruin his mother’s excited mood.
Lori took them all to the lakeside to feed the swans and doves. The girl especially enjoyed giving bread to the birds. And her favorite thing was that she was surrounded by white birds as soon as the flying animals saw her hand carrying food. Not to mention, Lori had become a regular visitor to the point the animals recognized her and flew around the girl like little kids asking for toys from their mother.
Lori didn’t forget her brother and urged Elliot to join her. But the boy wasn’t a fan of being surrounded by birds, so he mostly waited for her from some distance away while eating ice cream.
That day Richard brought his camera drone to capture his family’s moments. He always took it with him whenever he went on holiday with his family.―his drone was more effective in taking photos and doing whatever he wanted.
.....
The camera drone from TRH Industries could be controlled through the transparent glasses that Richard was currently wearing. By moving his eyes, he could control the drone without pressing buttons or using his hands.

The camera drone flew over Lori, who was feeding the birds and taking pictures of the little girl. After taking many photos, the drone moved to take a picture of Elliot, who was talking to a beautiful brunette-haired girl.
Where did that lovely little girl come from?
Richard smiled proudly, seeing his son making new friends so quickly. Elliot also seemed to have the charisma that girls his age were attracted to the boy. Richard felt immense pride seeing Elliot as charismatic as he was as a man.
“Wow, it looks like our son has a lot of fans,” praised Anxia, who walked over to her husband. Just as Anxia finished speaking, another married couple approached Elliot and introduced their daughter, who was hiding shyly behind her mother’s feet.
“You’re right. His charm is so inevitable that anyone immediately falls in love with him. That’s my son.”
Anxia rolled her eyes lazily at the narcissism her husband had. “Elliot is my son too, duh. I gave birth to him.”
Richard chuckled at his wife’s grumbling.
“What about Lori? It looks like someone’s trying―” Before Anxia had finished speaking, Richard had risen to his feet to approach his daughter... only because an unknown boy had a conversation with the girl.
“Hello... My name is Hose. You?”
“My name is Lori! Do you want to feed the birds with me?” Lori invited without knowing her father was already standing behind her with a stern look making Hose feel intimidated.
“I... I... I have to find my mother. Bye!”
Lori tilted her head in confusion to see her new friend running, screaming like he had seen a horrible ghost. Curious about what frightened the boy, Lori turned around only to find her father smiling broadly at her.
“Daddy!” Lori didn’t suspect that Hose ran away because of her father. “Do you also want to feed the birds?” instead, she invited her father to accompany her to feed these seemingly insatiable birds.
“My pleasure.” Richard crouched beside his daughter and took some of the bread Lori had brought. Then he picked it off piece by piece and threw it towards the flock of birds that surrounded them both.
On the other hand, Anxia slapped her forehead seeing her husband’s unreasonable actions. So the man didn’t mind if butterflies surrounded Elliot, but extremely mind if Lori was surrounded by bees.
What a ridiculous father he was!
Luckily, Elliot was a boy so Richard wouldn’t put too much pressure on the boy’s friends. If Lori’s twin was a daughter… Anxia couldn’t imagine how many young men would run away in the face of her husband’s intimidating aura.
After playing by the lake, the four ate together at a small tavern at Anxia’s request. And once again… one of Anxia’s menu orders is pizza??
“Again?” Richard was astonished by Anxia’s very unusual appetite.
“Yeah! More pizzas!” Elliot and Lori shouted together because they were pizza fans.
“Kids love it. I don’t see the problem.” Anxia said nonchalantly while showing a triumphant smile.
Richard sighed resignedly at his wife’s rebuttal. Why did he feel like he was looking after three children today? Richard was worried that Anxia would feel sick again. But if he prevented her from doing what she wanted, he worried that Anxia’s mood would turn sour.
Besides pizza, Lori also ordered blue cheese pasta and french fries. And what a coincidence, Lori’s favorite pasta came first. The thing was, when Anxia’s nostril caught the strong cheesy smell of the paste, Anxia’s stomach churned again.
Anxia immediately covered her mouth to suppress nausea, and her husband noticed her wife’s slight movement.
“Xia Xia, what’s wrong?”
Anxia tried to answer, but she felt like a ball was stuck in her throat. In the end, she only shook her head and tried to take slow deep breaths. However, her nausea grew stronger when she smelled her daughter’s pasta cheese, and she couldn’t endure her sickness. Without answering her husband’s question, Anxia immediately stood and ran to the bathroom.
Richard was about to follow his wife but remembered his two children. Luckily, he always took one of his Cerberus members with him whenever they left the house. With just one hand wave, someone dressed casually like a regular citizen walked into the tavern and sat at the table next to Richard’s.
“Wait here and behave. Okay?” Richard ordered his two children before leaving to follow his wife.
