Chapter 270 - 270 Fight (9)
270 Fight (9)
The ball of pure darkness had been lying in wait, moving very slowly circling near the base of the dark flame wall before finally arriving at its destination.
Cyra had been aware of it due to how it radiated the same feeling of her own ability, which made sense considering the two were completely the same ability.
The ball of pure darkness was the driving force that pushed her to ‘accidentally’ move too far away from the dark flame walls and too close to the muscular humanoid demon.
She certainly didn’t expect the muscular humanoid demon to suddenly show a new ability that she had never seen before. And she was definitely panicking when she saw a shockwave of the muscular humanoid demon’s bloodline power.
However, now seeing the muscular humanoid demon’s head still facing the ground and the ball of pure darkness hovering right above his muscular body, Cyra knew that her bet had paid off very well.
Cyra kept her mouth shut and opened up her eyes wide as she prepared herself to watch what was about to come.
The condensed ball of pure darkness throbbed for a split second, revealing a set of glowing demonic runes on its surface. The ball of darkness was supposed to have the same activation procedure as her own dark flame ball since the two of them were basically the same thing.
And when the runes on the surface of the ball disappeared, the set of runes moved onto the ground right beneath the muscular humanoid demon’s body, exactly the same as the giant dark flame pillar that had just finished manifesting.
But different from the dark flame pillar that manifested on a huge set of runes that could easily fit 3 to 4 people inside it, the set of runes that appeared beneath the muscular humanoid demon now was barely able to fit a single person.

And with the muscular humanoid demon’s huge body, he would just barely fit inside the set of runes.
Just like before, the sizable set of runes that was supposed to have taken some time to gather enough nether to manifest whatever spell contained inside it skipped the process entirely as the spell instantly manifested itself the moment the set of runes moved itself from the floating ball of darkness to the ground.
Cyra didn’t know what kind of spell Blake had decided to put inside his second ability of the child of the dark flame bloodline power. She was expecting some kind of attack that rivaled the dark flame pillar or something at the level of their combination spell.
So when the spell actually manifested itself, Cyra couldn’t help but tilt her head and sent a questioning gaze toward Blake’s direction.
She had expected an attacking spell that would finish its job in an instant, killing the scary muscular humanoid demon for good so that she wouldn’t have to deal with the annoying ability of the muscular humanoid demon’s bloodline power anymore.
But what had manifested into the world instead was a dark earth barrier. One that wasn’t even huge as it could only fit one person uncomfortably inside.
And with the size of the muscular humanoid demon’s body, Cyra doubted that the big guy could even move his limbs around.
‘He could probably still move his fingers…’ Cyra thought to herself as she continued watching the scene unfold despite questioning her brother’s decision.
As if not wanting his sole spectator to have her question left unanswered for long, Blake quickly continued drawing the set of runes that he had been drawing ever since the ball of darkness manifested the spell contained inside it.
He could usually finish a set of runes in a single second at most, but this certain rune took more of his time due to its complexity. And not even saying the time that it took to actually manifest the spell, which was even longer than drawing it since it would take a very large amount of Blake’s nether from his reserve.
Yes, the spell that Blake had decided to throw at the muscular humanoid demon after trapping him inside a dark earth barrier, which had basically become a prison that incapacitated the muscular humanoid demon inside was none other than the second realm darkness bullet spell.
He had seen before how the muscular humanoid demon could magically survive a blow from his and Cyra’s combination spell, something that a 10-meter wall made out of dark stones couldn’t even accomplish as Blake’s and Cyra’s combination spell easily blew the second base gate’s down in a single hit.
As miraculous as that sounded and seemed, that really did happen before and Blake knew that he wouldn’t want such a thing happening again.
Fighting the muscular humanoid demon for the second time was already a huge hassle considering the preparations and how much harder it was to catch the man off guard.
If he had to fight the muscular humanoid for the third time, then Blake was confident that the fight wouldn’t be anything considered short unless he suddenly got a very huge boost of power that raised his combat ability off the charts.
His current ability could already be said to be one of the best, if not the peak of the native of the first demon realm. And he had even evolved once and his body had started changing with all the points boost to his spirit and physique stat.
If he was still having a hard time despite his raised strength and unfair advantage considering he was an evolved being living in the first demon realm without any seals, something that all the other demons from the second realm had to have on their bodies that weakened their strength, then Blake couldn’t imagine if he had to fight the muscular humanoid demon in the deeper realms where his strength wasn’t limited by the seal placed on his body.
He had to make sure that he ended the fight properly this time. Hence why he chose to do the finishing blow with the second realm darkness bullet spell.
With how the spell works, it didn’t need to burn its target with heat so hot that it could evaporate flesh as that would probably take a split second to do.
Using pure raw strength that was literally out of this world, the muscular humanoid demon’s body would just be blasted out of existence, erasing the chance that the muscular humanoid demon could make a miraculous comeback after taking one of his attacks.
After two whole seconds passed and the nether reserve in Blake’s body had become less than a quarter, the glowing set of runes finally stopped eating any more nether.
His hand was steady and his feet firm, there wouldn’t be a single chance that Blake would miss his target right now as he locked onto the small dark earth dome like a sniper.
All Blake had to do was release his hold from the spell and it would shoot past the distance and crash onto the dark earth confinement in a blink of an eye.
However, at the last split second before Blake could do it, the nether all around him trembled.
Literally, all things around him that consisted of nether, the air, the dark flame walls, even the darkness barrier that Blake had created with his rune formation, all of them trembled as the matter that they were built off of was shaken off by something that forced them to abandon the world’s rule.
Even the second realm darkness bullet spell that Blake was yet to release also trembled along, threatening to dissolve at any second the moment it couldn’t stand against the intense force that forced all the nether to shake.
Not wanting that to happen, Blake didn’t waste any more time as he instantly released his hold on the spell and let it manifest onto the world. His hand still aimed straight towards the shaking dark earth dome that kept the muscular humanoid demon.
