Chapter 253 The Steelborn Legion
Atlas and the women spotted the Shadowfang Kingdom capital that had been captured by the Achaemendians. Once everyone jumped off Raymond's back he returned to the Otherworld as Grishna commented, ''What's the plan handsome?''
When he heard this he cringed as he touched his helmet that covered his scarred face. Atlas shook his head before answering as the thought of the empire pissed him off, ''We will rest for tonight, and in the morning we will split up into pairs and infiltrate the city, once inside we will cause chaos by destroying the empire's barracks and food stores.''
Everyone agreed as they started walking once again. But minutes later Altas stopped, his eyes narrowing at something in the distance. Without a word, he broke away from the group, his steps quickening as the women called after him.
When he reached the scene, he froze. The sight before him shattered his heart: Wolf Demi-Humans and even some children, lifeless and crucified, their bodies strung up along the road like some twisted display. Innocence stolen, cruelty laid bare.
For a moment, there was only silence, the world itself seeming to hold its breath. Then something within Altas snapped. A wave of rage surged through him, and in an instant, his Voidwalker form burst forth.
The ground trembled as he unleashed a furious, guttural roar that echoed for miles, shaking the heavens themselves. When the five women saw the scene they were utterly stomped but Amethyst turned to Atlas who dashed toward the city in a wild fury.
''He's attacking the city!'' she cried, her voice cutting through the chaos like a blade. ''We need to help him now!''
With fiery determination, Amethyst exploded into her majestic Phoenix form, wings ablaze with a swirling purple inferno, the very wrath of the cosmos itself. Flames danced in spirals around her as she unleashed a blood-curdling, rage-fueled screech.
In a burst of light, she soared into the air, a comet of vengeance streaking toward the city to help her lover. Meanwhile, Nulia transformed into her Frostbear form. Her white fur bristled with the chill of the tundra as she crouched low, waiting.
The moment the other three leaped onto her massive back, she charged forward, a living avalanche of frost and fury, thundering toward the heart of the chaos. While running something inside Grishna burned.
A voice echoed in her mind, one she was familiar with,
'My child, you've finally reached the road and now it's your choice. Do you want to become a Bloodbound Orc? You know what they are, They are in all the childhood stories.'

When Grishna heard that her green eyes widened in shock as she quickly agreed, '
Yes Goddess Gruum'ka, I need to help my husband fight these empire dogs.'
After making her choice the Goddess giggled,
'I knew you were special ever since I encountered you on the Blood Peak Grishna Brokentooth. Now go furfil your destiny and aid your husband, I can't wait to see your children.'
When the Orc woman heard this her cheeks went bright red, she shook her head to clear her thoughts as a burning sensation started radiating outwards. Following that Grishna tried to remember the stories about Bloodbound Orcs.
They were fierce and highly skilled warriors, capable of entering a berserker state known as the red rage, during which their skin would harden and their instincts would become razor-sharp, making them nearly indestructible.
'This will help during the upcoming battle.'
She understood that the Bloodbound Orcs were a once-in-a-lifetime event, destined to rise above all others of their kind and often rule over them. Grishna was shocked that the Orc Goddess chose her.
Shortly after that, a mind-numbing pain washed over her as she dropped off Nulia's back causing the others to panic. Grishna looked up as the pain clouded her mind and shouted, ''Go! I will catch up.''
The Frostbear woman nodded before taking off once more, quickly closing the gap. Soon, they were gaining on Atlas, who resembled a wild beast as he charged forward on all fours, moving with the speed of a rocket.
Estelle watched her Orc friend as she started to let out a green glow as a woman's voice whispered in her ears,
'My proud daughter, you're going into the lions maw and I deemed it necessary to gift you a spell that would aid you in the upcoming battles.'
The blonde's eyes widened in shock as Goddess Sol continued,n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
'The Steelborn Legion will become the backbone of the Messiah's army but you still need to grow Estelle. Continued aiding your lover and you'll grow even stronger.'
Following that her eyes widened in shock as she had heard of the Steelborn Legion, the founder of the Argonia Kingdom had it but it died alongside him. Estelle was excited and quickly thanked her patron Goddess.
'Thank you Goddess Sol, I don't know how to repay you but I will find a way,'
she replied in a respectful voice.
''Go forth and help the Messiah, he will be needed for the future as the Empire entangles itself with the evils of this world,'' Goddess Sol revealed before going silent.
With that, Estelle turned toward Artemis, the mana around her swirling in a mesmerizing dance. Meanwhile, the brunette unlocked her mother's bloodline as her father had been a Siren Prince.
Following that Artemis appeared on a mountaintop where she was surrounded by primal Earth and a deep chuckle was heard. This caused her to spin around only to have her big brown eyes open wide as she spotted a giant.
'An Ancient Titan,'
she thought.
''That's right little Titan, you're one of us through your father, who carried our Bloodline but didn't have the power to unlock it,'' a man's voice explained.
Artemis was confused but quickly shook her head before asking, ''Who are you?''
The man started bellowing causing the mountain to shake as if an earthquake hit the world which worried her. Shortly after that the Titan leaned forward with glowing brown eyes just like her own and nodded.
''You are one of us, my granddaughter. I'm Typhon Stoneborn, King of the Valorian Titans and your loving Grandfather,'' the man explained. ''I wish I could have been there at your birth, but when darkness descended, the world called upon us for aid.''
As Artemis heard these words, her eyes widened in shock. Before her, the man began to glow, his form shifting and transforming into a human. He now stood in front of her, with the same brown hair and eyes, just like hers.
