Chapter 80 - Mourning Atmosphere
The next day, Luna looked sadly at her wedding photo which was displayed on the wall of the family room. Currently, she is in her parents' house. Ananta was just buried this afternoon and now the atmosphere is quiet because the mourners have returned. only family members remained who still felt such deep sorrow.
Luna sat on the sofa while staring at the photo. The photo shows her and Ethan, who have become husband and wife, and Shandra and Arsha, who has also recently become husband and wife because they both married simultaneously according to Ananta's suggestion. In the photo, they stand in a row with Ananta on their right and Rita on their left. There was a happy smile on the man's face because he had married his two daughters to two good and well-established men. although at that time Ethan and Luna had never been in a relationship before but had to get married. Of course, it's all for accountability for the twins in Luna's womb.
"Grandpa died before you were born," muttered Luna as she stroked her stomach. she talked to her baby who had lost the chance to meet their grandfather at birth. Luna had imagined that her two children would later play, joke, and laugh with their grandfather. but all the shadows seemed to fade and were replaced with feelings of regret because they would only be dreams that would never be conveyed.
Ethan, who had been busy with Arsha, taking care of the funeral process and the evening's tahlil, only had time to pay attention to Luna again. he went to his wife who was sad.
"Don't cry, please let daddy calm down," Ethan shouted as he stroked Luna's hair. His eyes stared sadly at his wife who looked pale with eyes that were red from crying.
"Our child has not been born yet, but daddy has left us forever. I want to see our child will play with him later," said Luna as she leaned her head on Ethan's shoulder.
"It's fate, daddy will see our children from heaven. Don't turn it into a regret. Maybe this is the best way for dad. He's rested in peace and won't be in pain anymore."Ethan thought back to the time when his father-in-law died with what could have been intense pain. Remembering that time Ananta had vomited blood before breathing his last.
"I haven't had time to make daddy happy." Luna cried again and hugged Ethan.
"Dad will be happy if you are happy. If you keep crying like this, dad will be disappointed," said Ethan.
"This feels heavy. When we haven't seen for a long time, have to be separated by death. I feel sorry for never visited daddy all this time," said Luna.
"Don't be sorry. You also have a reason why you don't visit dad. Because you're pregnant, right?" Ethan asked, releasing his hug. he looked down at Luna's eyes with both hands on his shoulders.

"Yes." Luna nodded confirming Ethan's words.
"Then don't keep blaming yourself. Just be a good mother and carry out daddy's mandate. Then you will be happy," said Ethan with a reassuring smile. because that was what his wife had to do so that her late father would be at peace in heaven.
"Yes, I will always carry out daddy's message," Luna nodded and wiped her tears. She felt calmer now. Ethan was always able to give her peace of mind. the man is like a conditioner for her when she is depressed at any time.
"Have you eaten yet?" Ethan asked, remembering he hadn't eaten since last night coming home from work.
Luna shook her head and replied, "not yet."
"Let's eat, I'm hungry," said Ethan.
"You eat alone, I'm not hungry," exclaimed Luna, who looked sluggish. Saddened, she lost her appetite.
Ethan sighed, then coaxed Luna. "Honey, you have to eat. Think that you eat not only for yourself. Do you want the twins to be malnourished even since yesterday maybe you forgot to drink milk because I'm always busy? Right?"
Luna nodded confirming Ethan's words. She hasn't drunk milk since yesterday. "I forgot."
"You will always forget to drink milk if I don't make it. I'll buy it later after we eat," Ethan said, then got off the sofa. He stood up and held out his hand to Luna." Let's eat."
Luna sighed, then took Ethan's helping hand. She immediately went to the dining room with her husband.
____
In the dining room, there is Shandra and Rita who are also eating. Meanwhile, Arsha, who knows where maybe he is still busy with neighbors preparing a place for tahlil tonight.
Rita smiled at Luna's arrival. she just focused on paying attention to her spoiled little daughter, now a married woman and about to become a mother.
"Eat first, dear," said Rita as she looked at Luna and Ethan.
"Yes, Mom," replied Ethan with a friendly smile at his mother-in-law. He immediately sat in a chair next to the dining table with Luna.
"Ethan, where Arsha?" asked Shandra during her eating activities.
"Uh, maybe it's still outside," Ethan replied as he picked up some rice. "I was very hungry, so I left him," he continued with an explanation.
"Even though he hasn't eaten yet," muttered Shandra, then she quickly finished her food because she wanted to meet her husband who had not eaten since last night.
Rita brought rice and side dishes for Luna. "You have to eat, dear. So that your baby is healthy and you are strong too."
"I have no taste, Mom." Luna stared at the empty chair that had always been her father's favorite seat when eating. He remembered very well that his father always sat in that chair when he was eating. The pregnant woman shed tears again because of the sadness that continued to engulf her heart.
"Don't cry, remember your dad's message. You have to be a good mother, and it starts now. You have to eat, give nutrition to your children. You are no longer spoiled and always ask to be bribed. Do you want to feed by me now?"
Luna immediately shook her head. Of course, She is embarrassed because she will be fed by her mother. "I'll just eat by myself." Luna wiped her tears roughly, then took a plate that had been filled with rice and side dishes by her mother.
"By the way, isn't your pregnancy already seven months? Have you already held a thanksgiving?" asked Rita on the sidelines of her eating activities.
"Yes, mom. yesterday we gave thanksgiving alms to the children at the orphanage," said Luna with an expression that still showed sadness on her face.
"Thank goodness, I'm glad to hear that." Rita smiled relievedly, then looked at Ethan, who had been eating. Maybe he's really hungry.
"How's about your company, Ethan. It's doing well, right?" asked Rita.
"Ethan's company seems to have had the upper hand and won't fall again, Mom. Just last night he took me here by private jet," said Luna, remembering that her husband never told her that he had a private jet.
"Your private jet, Ethan?" asked Rita, raising her eyebrows. All she had known about Ethan was an established business. She did not know that his son-in-law had wealth like a conglomerate.
"Family-owned, Mom," Ethan replied in all humility. Because it all belongs to his mother. he just inherited and kept the mandate of managing the company and all of his mother's assets.
"Then Luna can lie on the plane. I'm sure, her big stomach makes her feel uncomfortable sitting for long." Rita glanced at Luna's curling stomach.
"Yes, mom. I'm a layman now, after a long hobby of walking on stage." Luna remembers when she was a model, almost every day participating in clothing exhibitions by walking on the stage. Now, because of her enlarged pregnancy, daily catwalks are replaced by lying on the bed.
