Chapter 15 - SHORT MESSAGE
"Hello...."
After thinking for a while, Ellena finally decided to accept a phone call from Keenan.
"Honey, where have you been? You've been worrying me all day. What actually happened? Are you okay?" Keenan immediately bombarded Ellena with several questions.
"I'm fine, Keenan. Sorry for worrying you." A tear rolled down Ellena's cheek. Her chest felt tight, when she heard Keenan's voice which she had always missed.
Ellena tried to hold back her sobs, so as not to be heard and make her lover feel even more anxious.
"You're awake? Isn't it very late?" asked Ellena flatly and a little pleasantly. In fact, he knew what made Keenan unable to sleep.
"How could I sleep, While all day you have no news at all. You don't receive calls and reply to messages from me, even it looks like you don't even intend to contact me, what's wrong? Do you know? You almost drove me crazy, Elle! I can't even do anything without hearing from you. Are you tired of me, so you often ignore me like that lately?" Keenan asked the question again. This time he raised his voice slightly.
The question certainly made Ellena's heart ache. It was like a real slap to her. How could she betray the man who loved her so much. And now, Keenan had started to feel his attitude change. I don't know what she should answer. If asked whether she is bored or not, the answer is "No!".
Not an answer that Keenan got, but the sound of Ellena's sobs that worried her even more.
"Ella, what are you doing? Are you crying? Is there something wrong with what I said? I'm sorry, if my words hurt you." Keenan lowered his voice again.
"Honey, answer me!" Keenan said in a worried tone.

Ellena was sobbing even more. She held her chest which felt so tight. It felt like she wanted to spill the myriad problems she was facing to Keenan. However, she didn't think this was the right time. He wasn't ready to hurt Keenan's heart so quickly.
"Sorry, Ken. I just need some time to myself. You don't have to worry about me anymore. After my business is done, I promise to explain everything to you. I love you, Keenan," Ellena said hoarsely.
"What do you mean, Elle? Are you going to leave me? Why do you say that?" Keenan seemed even more surprised by Ellena's attitude this time.
"Sorry, I just need some time alone. Bye, Keenan."
"Elle—"
Before Keenan could respond, Ellena suddenly ended the call. She even deliberately turned off her cellphone, so that Keenan could no longer contact him.
Ellena had no intention of leaving Keenan at all. It's just that he needs time to himself, reflecting on every decision he has made. By letting Keenan continue to contact him every day, when she was already Lucas's wife, it only made him feel even more guilty towards Keenan.
Ellena couldn't hold back her sobs, every time she heard Keenan's voice. So, she thought it was the best decision. She will find the right time to explain everything to her boyfriend. She hoped that Keenan would patiently wait and understand his decision.
It turns out that everything is not as easy as Ellena imagined. Just talking on the phone made her heart hurt, especially if she had to meet Keenan in person. Maybe Ellena would just cry in front of that man, without being able to say a word.
Ellena spilled all her tears right then and there. She didn't even care, if Lucas would be bothered by the sound of her crying. She just wanted to vent the tightness in her chest. Sometimes she shuts his mouth, when her emotions are running high. She felt like she wanted to scream, pour out his anger, blame fate that was so cruel to he.
Still sobbing, Ellena lay down on the sofa, covering herself with the blanket. Unbeknownst to her, a pair of eyes were watching her.

A beautiful morning has greeted with the light of the sun that warms the body of every human being. Ellena, who was still curled up under the thick blanket, immediately squirmed when she felt the warmth.
Ellena seemed to squint, when she caught the glare of sunlight that refracted through the bedroom window. Instantly she jumped when she realized that it was already so bright outside. I don't know who opened the window curtains that morning, maybe Lucas had woken up first?
The crying last night seemed to have exhausted Ellena, causing her to wake up late.
"Oh my God, what time is it?"
She looked at the clock on the wall. The time is already at 08.30 WIB. Ellena immediately got out of bed. Wait! His steps stopped for a moment.
"Why am I here? Didn't I sleep on the couch last night?" Ellena seemed to look left and right, checking the king size bed which was now supporting her body.
"Then where is Mr Lucas? Did he go?" he said later, not seeing Lucas around.
"I'd better take a shower first." Ellena pulled back the blanket that still covered part of her body. However, just as she was about to leave that place, she suddenly felt a slight throbbing in her head. A groan escaped her mouth.
"Aawww!" Elena seemed to be holding her head. I don't know why he felt so dizzy. His head felt heavy. Maybe because of last night's tears?
Ellena was silent for a moment, trying to neutralize the pain in her head. Ah, maybe it's because yesterday was too tired, she thought.
After the pain in her head had started to improve, Ellena immediately got out of bed and went to the bathroom. She walked slowly. However the pain is still there, even if only a little.
After a few minutes in the bathroom and changing clothes, Ellena immediately rushed to the small kitchen in the room. Perhaps there was something she could eat.
Because the hotel room she occupied was a Presidential Suite type, so Ellena could enjoy the complete facilities provided in the room. Apparently, Lucas deliberately chose the best and most expensive type of room.
Yes of course. How could a rich and famous person like Lucas choose a random place, especially for an important event.
Before Ellena had time to go to the kitchen, she was already surprised by the variety of food served on the table near the sofa. Instantly her eyes immediately lit up, staring at the dish.
Ellena went straight to the table, then took a piece of paper that was crushed by a glass filled with water.
'Eat! I'll pick you up this afternoon.'
A short message was written on a small piece of paper on the table.
Ellena knew who wrote the message. It was certain that it was Lucas.. Not wanting to bother, Ellena immediately ate the food.
